Hey look, today Kreuziger is strong enough to attack! Or maybe he always was and he was too chicken to do anything before, and the only difference is that he doesn't care about the GC anymore.

But no, I guess everyone's cooked and they're all at exactly the same level so there's nothing they can do.

When have we seen more than that in this Giro??
On Giau at least
Anyway I was ironic, it'll be just the same of this, only Contador will attack at 7 kms to go in some stage and people will say that's epic.

Why woulnd't it be?

You know in my country the commentators are not really precise, and one of them are saying that it is illegal. I asked this, because I'm curious that there are some rule about it, or not?

Nothing happened on Giau...

No, the Vuelta will not be epic. The route is so pathetic it doesn't even give the riders the chance to make it epic.

Which is why this Giro is so disappointing. While its route is very deficient, it still gives the riders the chance to make something happen but they.just.won't

Only if it's spiked...

Instead if trashing his riders Martinelli should have put a car there too!

Giro to be decided between Joaquim Rodriguez and Ryder Hesjedal. Everybody seems to be at their limit. Attacks are harder on steep climbs. I don't see Pantani in the group anyway.

Does anyone here remember the stage last year to Gardeccia? Contador, who had the race won, attacked on the third to last climb with over 50km to go. Epic, exciting, wonderful stage. Say what you will about tactics, but professional bike racing is for the spectators. When you are 15km from the third to last stage in a GT and nothing memorable has happened then the race has been a failure. Whether it is the organizers or the riders, there has been little excitement so far in this Giro.

Bring back Contador!

None that I am aware of. Though, the UCI has a rule for everything, so maybe they do? But, no one is going to enforce it.

You guys with the complaining need to go ride some of these climbs consecutively, at max effort and I'll complain that you are boring... I think your tune will change a little.

When 6 riders arrive together I take it 'something' happened.
It wasn't a great stage but it was fine.

What? When, in a stage as hard as that one, in the last week of the race, with the first riders so close together in the GC, they all just ride together to the finish line... I'm sorry, the day I accept that as being something I'll stop watching cycling.

I checked back on the rules and found nothing.
