lol no way there will be sprinters left there. only if they soft pedal, won't happen
4,7 km@ 8,4% is still a very hard climb. i expect samu to win this

scratch that, seems like they go only at 335 meters altitude, not 425

thanks to recorridosciclistas:

This is the profile of the stage as presented back in January:

It was a longer climb, with hardest ramps and the end of the descent closer to the finish.

Well, they managed to **** up a pretty good stage, any reason why they did it?

Mods are lazy today, not stickying this, and not responding

So Degenkolb is confident of getting over the mountains. Or does he just want to win the intermediate sprint?

Nah he wants to get as many points as he can at the finish.

Not half as lazy as the OP though.

Well cutting the most steep part of the final climb looks well fishy. Is the same going to happen tomorrow as well ? Are they worried Contador is suddenly a bit off. Pah ...

Sheesh, this still hasn't been stickied yet? Where are the mods?

Protesting over the lazy OP. A map or a weather prediction would have been nice. Or just something more than a quote from another thread....

Froome or someone will go nuts on the climb. This stage has been far too easy, the GC riders will be bored and attack. Giant should have held it all together until the first sprint.

Samu to attack on the descend...

Wet and windy it seems...
Hopefully everyone stays on their bikes...

They should but they won't. Contador would if he needed to:

Well you got the profile, and there's not that much to say about this stage. Feel free to post any preview you like, Hitch's epic previews are scarce these days

Weather forecasts have been off the rocker anyways.
I don't think much will happen today.
Hope Valverde will finally get his win.
