A yellow shirt doesn't matter. It's a race, people. Nibali simply took advantage of the inevitable lull in the pace when Froome stuffed up his gear change to move away for the stage win. He's not even riding for the GC win ffs.

I'm giving Nibbles the benefit of the doubt and that he wasn't aware of Froomes mechanical. If he was I believe he would not have attacked the MJ.

But immaterial to the Situation IMO. The real chapeau for me goes to Poels and what he is doing to support CF.

Maybe, but more likely they don't care about the fine. No way 200 to 1,000 francs is stopping them from a serious chance at the KOM jersey and securing a top 10 GC spot.
