Im not sure VdV really is doing that great, but maybe Hesj ant handle more ?

But we really won't know for a while, because not a single rider has even tried to break VdV's rhythm, even just to test how anyone responds.

Rodriguez has taken off the glasses. It's getting serious. :D

Probably not 2 minutes, but if TDG feels good he should be able to make up at least 1 minute to Hesjedal. He's arguably the best ITTer among the overall Top 10. C'mon De Gendt!

Uh?

It says this: "At the Tour de France, despite suffering a minor collarbone fracture, De Gendt had a strong final week, finishing sixth on Stage 19 to Alpe d'Huez and fourth in the time trial the following day."
In the palmares section, that is. It's the ubique society and the giro is on, you think I have all the time in the world to read thru the net to just make a cheap shot.

**** me, I really hope Thomas wins this. So disappointed with the lot in the peloton. Not even testing Ryder to see if there are any weaknesses.

I think Rodríguez is looking good today, but his characteristics as a rider mean he can't attack this early. He's good at shorter efforts. If he attacks this early he'll lose time towards the end

He's opening that gap in a big way. Not even that far from virtual pink. They have to be getting nervous about it.

So Sean Kelly thinks de Gendt's lead is going to come down by a min. and half to two minutes by end?

Anyone??
