Did De Gendt save energy for 3 weeks for this stage?

It almost seems this way. Either that, or De Gendt's recuperation is miles ahead of any other contender, which makes him compartively superstrong in the final week (same thing at le Tour 2011)

Okay let's not get ahead of ourselves. Yesterday Hesjay had won it. Now, De Gendt has won it.

Let's wait and see.

I still remember Andy loosing a lot on the last 2km of Galibier. Still, I hope de Gendt keeps it going and wins the damn thing. What a ride!!

Hesjedal is JUST as tired than De Gendt. He may be able to respond if someone goes, but won't make major inroads by himself.

Italians are either 100% spent or total crap. They can't win without doing something, forget Ryder and think about DeGendt

What does the gap have to be at end for Ryder to hold de Gendt in the TT.

4mins, ie. he needs to take back a min. here? Looks unlikely.

I don't understand people. Apparently you're mad because nobody help Hesjedal to win when he is clearly the strongest... He should be infront killing himself.
