Wow, that sums it up. His heart hasn't been in it all year. the legs neither. And still too big an ego to realize that the team is taking the hit today for nothing.

Glad to see the tactical "telling it like it is" genius Bruyneel keeping the Shack up when the cetral post gave way.

What was it about surrounding yourself with "yes-men" again?

Karma, it's beautiful when it has been brewing one big dump.

Brazkovic is better than that... its a dysfunctional team.

I was thinking about this, when was the last time the winner of the Dauphine was used a domestique for the Tour, since Dauphine winner is usually an indication of a possibly threat at overall in the Tour.

Armstrong used that last crash as an excuse to give up.

He had already given up. That was just a 5th helping of the sh|t sandwich he has been eating since last week.

Exactly. It's supposed to be a cycling forum. it's laughable. Adios.

Good riddens sweety. Aww let's not talk down on these guys, what terrible sports we are.

Naw that we've had to deal with the arrogance and bullying from LA for all these years, makes me what to scream out loud YEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!

I like that one. Great. The little whipping boys are piling on. Been waiting years huh?

No, most of us wish his junkie a$$ had stayed retired, but Mr Narcissist couldn't just let sleeping dogs lie. He had to come back...yea, well sometimes things don't turn out the way you demand they turn out. Sucks for him.

So, enough Uniballer schadenfreude, let's talk about people who are actually in contention for the stage win and the overall.

There is still a chance that the leading trio might stay away to the finish, but the Astana train is warming up on the front of the favourites' group and if they really decide to light it up they should be able to pull back 1:36 no problem. I don't know if the climb is steep enough for Contador to gap the rest, so there ought to be an interesting battle for the stage win. Cuddles, perchance? Maybe Hes-Jay if he can hang on to the summit, he has a good sprint too.

so the peloton slow pedal and allow LA back on (well, as slow as they needed to - it only took him 4 mins or so to close a 45 secs gap), so people can't complain thaty Saxo/Astana/Sky et al didn't wait for him, then as soon as the road went up, akmost the entirity of the RS team fell off. What a surprise, as I said, the RS team is not that good in the mountains, and never was. At least Kloden and Levi are still up with the Contador/Astana led group 0- if they can stay on, will LA give up leadership and allow everyone to back them up? Levi is over min behind Menchov/Wiggins, let alone the rest, so a top 5 would be a possible maybe

This quote someone posted is one of the funniest things i have read in a long time, and it was spoken by a rider too!!
