Amazing from Contador, just weeks after a broken leg. Bad day for Froome, looked like 24 seconds loss.

Most excellent performance today goes to Alberto. Broken leg? he clipped quintana, purito and valverde. Froome the looser of the day. No wonder he's been chasing points along the way. Dan martin, most opportunistic, but.. doesn't work.

I can't see Froome winning after being dropped like that. It isn't much time to lose but it isn't a good sign. No places to hide in the TT.

Quintana wheelsucked there.

Protecting the jersey :p

Movistar will chop and change who the leader is depending on who they need it to be.

(Didn't he wheelsuck on one of the early MTFs in the Giro too?)

That was a pretty good attack from Contador but Purito did a good job of bridging it. And Nairito in red! :D

Anyone think it is wierd how same with Dauphinee the crash affects Froome more the 2nd day. Not making excuses Contador was great please put this argument to rest Contador would have destroyed Nibali in the TDF. Rest day will be good for Froome;), then we will see in the ITT if he has the form.
