Excellent racing today! Sky was pulling most of that final climb, but no ridiculous train of 2012 and 2013. Even AC looked like he was digging very deep to hold off the rest of the GC guys. Once again, a non-Tour de France GT has been a hundred times more exciting. TdF...LEARN how to put a first week and a half together! Only about 30 seconds or so spread between the main contenders, but multiple exciting stages, not just pan flat after pan flat stage. Lovin' it!!!:D

Oh, and can someone tell that dude Froome TO LOOK UP THE FREAKIN ROAD?! It seems like he's gotten worse at keeping his head up, he looks down more than he looks up, ridiculous!

King Alberto, really missed that elegant style!
Rodriguez is starting to annoy the hell out of me with that last km sprints. Maybe he should try and attack himself to try and actually win something  (Maybe I'm annoyed because he caught Contador but the point still stands:D)
Froome is down but not out, he's a lot of things but definitely not a quiter. This is between Chris, Naironman and Velasco I hope.

Pathetic. 12 riders between Anacona and Contador. No sign of them.

Quintana roja, Contador 3 sec behind. If Vorganov didn't squeeze himself like a lemon + Purito sprinting like mad and Quintana being towed to the line, Alberto might have been in red.

They were showing the race for the GC. If they showed that we might have missed Contador's attack.

Its hard to not say this without seeming racist or something, but please say I'm not the only person that has noticed that many of the Colombian riders look like elves?

I think the TT will be the key for Froome now, if he is poor there and doesn't take much time then it's obvious he won't be winning. If he has a great TT then today can be put down to a bad day.
Why depend on the TT? What gives, wasn't Froome supposed to be the climber of ages?

In other news Nairo is tranquillo and has this in the bag.

The only rider who wheelsucked, was Quintana. For almost 2 km.

Rodriguez did the whole chase behind Contador, till Vorganov came.

I agree that he should take more initiative himself, but today he was one of the least guys who wheelsucked.

We all knew Quintana would probably drop Froome at some point and that Froome would get that time back in the TT's. We didn't expect Contador to drop Froome so easily. Bad day? Maybe. It looks to me it's between Quintana and Contador though.

man- Anacona is awesome-what a beautiful stage win for him.

.......and Lampre can at last be tranquil with a great result :) time to retire the old school (Papi, the piccolo prince and Pippo) and start investing in the future...

All the talk of Quintana wheelsucking... what exactly did you want him to do? Attack the red jersey? That would have improved team harmony wouldn't it?

Why did Valverde sprint in the final? He should just have wheelsucked Froome in the finish. Then he would have lost a couple of more seconds.

Never, ever once said he is the climber of all ages, that's just trolling bs.

It was more to judge just how good his form actually is. If he does well then today can be put down to a bad day. If he struggles again it's obvious he has no chance, surely I can't put it clearer than that?

No, we didn't know that because Froome has, up to this point, been the superior climber.

Don't rule out Froome so quickly. He might recover brilliantly during the rest day and crush the TT.

I didn't call him a wheelsucker, just an annoying last km sprinter. Besides, as I said my opinion may be biased because I'm upset that he caught Contador :D

Yes I agree Quintana and Contador are big favourites now.

Well, If Quintana was to win we knew he would have to drop Froome at some point since Quintana is going to lose time on the TT. Contador should also lose time on the TT to Froome but I don't think it will be that much.

No you're right. But hey, apart from Contador, nobody attacked;)
