Would absolutely love it Kruijswijk and Yates went to the Giro again. Seems Mas wants to go for the Tour....

Yep and Thomas will probably go for the Giro

Really hope Steven K gets a podium next year

Matt White fairly much confirmed S.Yates will ride the Giro and Patrick LeFevre stated Mas will ride the Giro.

They have my sympathy, since their fighting spirit and especially that of Steven is inline with my belief. Bravo and hope to see Lotto NL fighting hard next year again!

Also, depending on which standards are applied, this could finally be his first GT stage win.
Nah, doesn't count imo. Funny though that the closest he has come to a stage win in the past was also a TT.

The time is now.

He won't get a much better start to the Tour. Gaining big time on many of his rivals and 20 seconds on the Ineos riders is also good. The final week will be his big test, the same for Fuglsang.

Hats off to Jumbo, and yes, SK won the day from a GC standpoint...great TdF start.

He has gone a bit under the radar here, perhaps because of not impressing on la Superplanche, compared to others - but on the other hand, it didn't suit him, so all in all it was allright. Anyway, here and now he might be the greatest challenger (with Pinot) to INEOS - Alaphilippe must surely crack sooner or later, right?

His team (and FDJ) need to make the race as hard as they can. Eventually Ala must break, and if he won't there's nothing they could have done.

I'm a believer. He needs every stage to be ridden hard though. Jumbo should work hard tomorrow.

Please ban people who call him krushweak haha, than nickname is over. He will not be hanging on for dear life like Roglic does, he has much better recovery in the 3rd week.

At least he has a huge opportunity of finally getting his first GT podium.
A shame that Bennett isn't up there in the GC anymore. He could have been used in long range attacks now is just another domestique.

With the remaining parcours he should finish on the podium - Once he hits form he will ride consistently day after day - Must say he was dead set ordinary in the Dauphine.

To someone not paying attention.

His Dauphine time trial was excellent. He got sick after which is why he was bad in the mountain and then abandoned.
However that time trial should've been a clear sign already.

He's no Fuglsang though!
Well everyone not Danish knew Kruijswijk was the more likely threat, lets be honest here
I'd remind everyone that because you're Danish, you're not automatically biased towards Danish riders. My fellow countrymen would argue quite the opposite about me in many circumstances

Yeah but there's certainly a tendency for people to have a bias to their own compatriots.
