I would be very surprised if Pogacar would attack from a great distance.
It is possible that after a few accelerations by Poga, Pidcock and a few other top riders, a (large) leading group will break away at 50 or 60 km from the finish. Like when Van Aert and VDP won, Poga (if he has the legs) will pull away 15 to 20 km from the finish. If he is countered, or if he is not good enough, I can see Pidcock riding away on a gravel strip (downhill?)

I'm not sure how this will go in reality, since Visma always says it's about the win, not the rider who wins. But Valter said the team would ride for him, and he specifically mentioned Laporte and Kuss as his domestiques.

If we're talking about the men race there is no broadcast before that time.
I doubt it’s broadcast any sooner than that on RAI or whoever the main broadcaster is. Getting 3 hrs of coverage is significantly better than we used to get for this race, which was always a shame.

Want to talk about celebrating early, here I was refreshing Procycling stats trying to figure out why the race hadn’t started yet.
Wow Wout. He looks rough. Clearly rode himself into the ground for that third place. Reminds me of early race footage from decades ago. Gotta love Wout.
Interested to see how Healy does... going off last year a profile that itself should suit him to a degree.

I think you'll find that the TV people will be busy following the ladies race which starts two hours earlier.

Sagan never winning this race is another one of those weird holes in his palmares. The guy was super successful, yet there are so many races tailor made for him he could never win.
