In normal conditions he is not strong enough to beat pogacar, but after the crash of pogacar, he had a chance, but he thinks he is good enough to not be a wheelsucker against him.

Naah even today he would've been smoked in the sprint.
He didn't have a real chance today.

You still think he is less impressivr this year? After his attack I changed my mind to be honest (he looks as dominant as last year). He was probably toying with Pidcock in Sante Marie

I think it's simply that Pidcock got considerably better this year and had still enough in tank to stay with Pog in Sante Marie but didn't have it anymore in the finale. Pogacar's performance was very impressive. In absolute terms maybe worse than last year but considering the circumstances it was as impressive as in 2024.
