Ganna was so so strong in the end, that sounds not possible..

The gap between the both of them is 13s. It doesn't matter whether Ganna started slow and finished fast, or whatever, the only thing that matters is his time at the finish and how much time Tarling lost. So 10-15s (slowing down, getting on the new bike and get going again) seems realistic.

On a flat TT, he stands very little chance. A bit hillier, then he can compete, but I think he would've come at best 3rd today (given rain and Tarling's mechanical).

He can beat them if the TT is under 50 km/h

I don't like it in the road races either. They use it all year, IMO it makes the race fairer if you know what's going on, and it's just ridiculous to have the entire world know what's going on but the riders are in fog of war.

Also agreed. But at least there can be a logic (even if very flawed) to it in the RR. In the TT it's just weird.

Yes, it was a pure aerodynamic TT for specialists. Pogi, despite great power, is not the most aero guy (as one famous rider said: he rides like a miner).

He has said that the Glasgow TT was one of the worst days in his life so it's not like that's a very likely scenario to happen again.

I don't think Pogacar has ever really shown he can beat Remco/Ganna on a 52kmh+ TT. Came 12s behind Remco with a nice hill in the summer, 30s in May behind Ganna

I think he could have given he probably lost ~15 seconds or so with the mechanical... and came only 12 seconds behind Ganna.

Tratnik also had to change bike.
