The gap between the both of them is 13s. It doesn't matter whether Ganna started slow and finished fast, or whatever, the only thing that matters is his time at the finish and how much time Tarling lost. So 10-15s (slowing down, getting on the new bike and get going again) seems realistic.Ganna was so so strong in the end, that sounds not possible..
On a flat TT, he stands very little chance. A bit hillier, then he can compete, but I think he would've come at best 3rd today (given rain and Tarling's mechanical).Pogacar would be in the top5 but he can't beat Remco, Ganna and Tarling

Also agreed. But at least there can be a logic (even if very flawed) to it in the RR. In the TT it's just weird.I don't like it in the road races either. They use it all year, IMO it makes the race fairer if you know what's going on, and it's just ridiculous to have the entire world know what's going on but the riders are in fog of war.
What happened with Plapp??? He was 4th at T1 and then abandoned.

Pogacar can somehow veer from best in the world to like 20th behind Lawson Craddock in a one day tt so who knows really, could've finished a minute ahead, could've ended up caught and passed in disgrace by Dan Hoole.
I don't think Pogacar has ever really shown he can beat Remco/Ganna on a 52kmh+ TT. Came 12s behind Remco with a nice hill in the summer, 30s in May behind GannaPogacar can somehow veer from best in the world to like 20th behind Lawson Craddock in a one day tt so who knows really, could've finished a minute ahead, could've ended up caught and passed in disgrace by Dan Hoole.

They had radio today.
Were there any punctures in the women's race, or was Tarling incredibly unlucky ?

Pretty sure it was a puncture that caused Knibb's mechanic to come flying like that.
No.will there be radios for the riders during the road race also?
Did he puncture his shoe?
