The group's too big. Someone who reckons they've got the legs needs to put the hammer down and drop some of the hangers-on.

Cancellara just got his 2nd classic win(unless a puncture or falling)-the remain guys are fighting for the crumbles....

the other guys are forcing Cervelo to sacrifice their extra man... and then they will have to take turns...

But still... up against a 500cc.

I think he took the full liter.

the groups is not working together, they are not strong enough and know they have been beaten

Bar a mechanical and a bad bike change, it's over.

This is ridiculous. He's increasing all the time. unless they get organized, he'll win byten minutes. are they saving themselves for sprinting for second?

So...who will be second?

Boonen seems to be the safe bet, 2nd in Paris Tours, 2nd in San Remo, 2nd in Flanders :)

I'm waiting to see Spartacus blow Contador off his back wheel on some of the big Tour climbs. Come on guys, we've gotta be believers here.

NB: Boonen also has himself to blame: he was nowhere near Cancellara when the latter decided to go and was really slow to react. Just a dumb moment by a smart rider.
