It's official. It was $25,000, then $100,000, too.

McQuaid produced a receipt, but no one could take a picture, just in case the figure changes again.

It doesn't matter whether it is 10,000 or 100,000 or 500,000, it only matters if it can be proved if the dollars can be associated with him getting special treatment when it comes to testing and test results. Anyways, for the UCI, 500,000 isn't that much money.
