Do you really think those climbers can rip the peloton in Berta? They need roulers to make the race hard in the last 150 km.
Yes berta is 2km 7% climb and he is more than capable of shredding the peleton. But how do u think roulers can make the race hard in last 150 kms when crosswinds almost never crossed their mind to msr?

I don’t think they can make it hard enough on a clear day. You’re just shredding teammates and everyone sits in. Now if the weather is bad with crosswinds, you might be on to something.
If you want echelons, you need roulers to split the peloton. However, it is rare to have strong wind in Italy.

Right now... PCS have listed Pog, Narvaez, McNulty, Novak and Wellens. Who else do you think it will be or who do you want to see?
Politt is a must after what he did in PN.
Vermeersch is my other pick. What he did in SB was incredible.

Politt and Vermeersch would be my ideal riders to put in the last two spots but yeah, PCS has Vermeersch listed for some cobbled classics. If that's the case, they should have Bjerg.

Also, I think McNulty will be a question mark after he DNF'd Paris-Nice. If he's replaced, I'd love for Del Toro to take his spot.

Well, we didn’t have to wait long. Surprised at Laengen’s inclusion but as long as he does the job of positioning the UAE guys before Cipressa, then I can’t complain. And then finally, Politt is in the lineup. He should always be there at MSR anyways.

Also nice to see Del Toro there.
No, Laengen is to do the dirty work. He won't survive Capo Berta.

Laengen will work and protect the others until the Capos begin I would think or for as long he can keep up. Then others will take over.

McNulty is not a team player. Hirschi is a great classics rider but what help did he give to Pogacar in LBL?
Exactly, so I would prefer Covi instead of him tbh. He was good last year for Pog here... when Ulissi and Hirschi were completely useless.
