I think other riders are getting the same feeling just like last year. No one is going to stop Pogacar, only a crash.

But w/out Pog there wouldn't have been an attack on Cipressa. I do think Milan (if Trek was only working for him, unlikely with Mads) can make it up and over the Poggio with 10-15 seconds gap assuming a strong attack by an Mvdp/Pidcock type. Which I think there would be, no one wants to go to the line with a pure sprinter in MSR.

I didn't say that. I said MVP couldn't drop everyone. Probably Pidcock, Ganna, and other 2 or 3 guys would be with MVP and in this scenario, it is very likely MVP couldn't win.

I would prefer to see him doing E3, RVV, PR and LBL. E3 is important to prepare RVV.

If Pogi races Roubaix it means that he's the true DS of the team and it makes no sense to go somewhere else.

I was really hoping he’d skip Gent and Amstel instead if he’s riding Roubaix but I guess he really wants to tick off the Ardennes triple that eluded him in 2023.

It’s a question of riding E3, GW, FVV, and P-R. And have the necessary lead out support necessary to ensure he can possibly win all four. And not creating a bus full of bitches too bitter to ride GTs too

The problem is everyone wants a leadership but no one can really win big races. So it is unfair to Pogi too. Pogi could win all 3 Gts last year but one of the reasons he mentioned was that he needs to leave his domestiques shine too. What was the result? A truly disgrace in the Vuelta. This year, I believe the same will happen in the Giro. Ayuso is firing in all cylinders but last year he was very good too in March (and April).

Yes i would rather see him skip amstel or flech than E3. I want to see him fight with vdp & wva as much races as possible as they used to be called the big 3
