The 2024 WC attack was the most savage since Hinault at Sallanches.

Lombardia and Emilia were carnages like never before. Pogacar had won Lombardia, but not with this performance.

After what we saw in Zurich, it's surprising that his season is still underestimated.

This spring has been very good. He hasn't won MSR, never has, but he has broken the race from further away.
This year, due to the team accidents, he did almost all of De Ronde alone.

Roubaix was a debut. I think people underestimate what he did in Roubaix because he didn't win.

The last Tour winner who went to Roubaix finished in 32nd place. Hinault needed four participations to win Roubaix

Finishing second in his debut is impressive.
Zurich was really very impressive. But had the same vibe in MSR this year. What he did is something otherworldly.

Froome attack on Finestre, was more impressive. 82 km from the finish line, and the gap was more than 3 minutes.

Good luck to everybody! Combloux will look like a slaughterhouse.

Do you know that a slaughterhouse happened two years ago in Combloux right?

This year organizers were hilarious. Will there be a quadruple revenge in Combloux, Hautacam, Ventoux, and Loze?, at least the shot.
Simon Yates had it in Finestre

But when the route was presented, there were many comments that this route was designed to benefit Pogacar. LOL

Over in the Roglic thread it's the whole world against Roglic. Here it's the organisers trying to break Pogacar because of the route (??)
Haven't read the Remco and Jonas threads yet, but I can't wait to read the conspiracy theories they got going over there 😂
Roglic is regressing. He will have his last opportunity to finish on the podium in the Tour.

For the Tour podium? Yeah I think you're right. Or (very) maybe one more year. When it comes to results in general: I wouldn't put it beyond him to be competitive for a couple of more years to come. He came into the game quite late and he's tough as nails.

On another note, re: my post you quoted: do you really believe Tour organisers mean to 'break' Pogacar?

I do. Coincidence is too big to be honest. Loze, Ventoux and Hautacam in the same edition as MTF is clearly to mess with Pogacar, which is normal since he destroyed the Tour last year.
