Don't blame me, it's normal to have doubtsAgain this talk about Yates? Can you wait for the mountains to have reliable information?
My feeling is that Pog will put 30-40 secs on Vingegaard tomorrow. I said it before the Tour started and I still believe that. He'll have to do the time trial wearing the mountain jersey. Between that and the ITT material , I have a bad feeling.

Pogacar did more than 9 w/kg with a chicane in the climb.Don't blame me, it's normal to have doubts
I see three Visma riders in the top10 climb, Almeida is missing due to poor positioning, and it's understandable to question that.
The result was the best today, but the reality is that as soon as Visma took over, they dropped the entire UAE. Campenaerts' pace eliminated Wellens and put Narvaez in trouble.
In the high mountains, it will be very important to recover Adam Yates.

Wellens had to overcome one of the climbs first, but in the final meters, a UnoX rider overtook him.Damn the polka jersey ? If he has a bad performance I will blame it all on the jersey. I already find it quite ugly as it is,if on top of that it is hindering his performance 🤬
That’s cute. Delusional, but cute.My feeling is that Pog will put 30-40 secs on Vingegaard tomorrow. I said it before the Tour started and I still believe that.
It would be a great result for PogMy prediction for tomorrow :
1) Evenepoel
2) Vingegaard : +26 secs
3) Pogi : +38 secs
Let's see tomorrow how delusional I am.That’s cute. Delusional, but cute.
You could see Tadej check back at how close the chasers were, and wisely not trying the descending portion alone. JV's guys would've caught on with a bit more force. Jonas was getting gapped before Tadej chilled out for a moment. That pitch looked like 20%+ from the lead camera view, too.I rewatched the last 10 km and Vingegaard sprinted to not get dropped. He went completely over his limit there. I don't know if he will keep up on longer climbs.
Jonas without Matteo today would've been with Roglic. There's little talk about how the UAE was a disaster, and that Pogacar shone in the 2019 Vuelta as a rookie and won the 2020 Tour in a mediocre team.
UAE was on par with Total Energies in the Vuelta. A complete disaster of performance. Aru and Henao crawled the entire Vuelta.
In the 2020 Tour, only de la Cruz had any level in mountain. He was the only one against Kriswijk, Kuss, Van Aert, Doumolin... the rest were sprinters, DNFs, and mediocre performances.
I would´ve liked to see Vingegaard in such a mediocre team in a GT.
Pogacar went deep too but Vingegaard almost sold his soul to the devil to follow there.
It is true but he dropped Vingegaard in a fresh effort. It's still impressive. On San Luca He didn't drop Vingegaard at all, in fact I think Vingegaard wasn't at his limit. It seems that Pogi dropped Vingo and then cooked himself. He visibly slowed down just before the top.
Vingegaard has crushed him on Hautacam before, he can do it again.Today is the most important day to Vingegaard IMHO. He is basically screwed (IMHO) if he doesn't win time on Pogacar.
I can only see him winning in 2 ways:
1- Pogacar crashes out.
2 - Win time on the TT (more than 25 seconds) and hang on for dear life in the mountains.
No he can't unless Pogacar is injured.Vingegaard has crushed him on Hautacam before, he can do it again.
I never understood why Vingegaard isn't suited to punchy climbs because he is light. In fact being lighter is better in steep gradientspog looked so fesh after stage in comp to others, thye are cooked.everything pog does screams insane climbing is coming.its started on cipressa.yesterday same, vinge could follow on punch, but than he couldnot hold it.and that juts translates into climbing.dont care about the punch, tempo is key.
Relax bro, you might choke on it. Was he injured in 2022 or 2023?No he can't unless Pogacar is injured.
