I want to see the watts, Vingegaard was definitively worse than in 2024 Pdb, no doubt about that, pog also but by a smaller margin. I know the pacing on pdb was perfect, but to keep the wheels when the pace is high you still have to push the watts!!
In which stratosphere do you think narvaez is putting vingegaard in the limit? Both pog & jonas followed the nuclear power with still 11 kms to go thats why they faded on the 2nd part. For ex. Lipowitz was not part of the watt bomb 11kms to go & rode with his pace. Him coming back to jonas & riding the same pace with pog on the last 5 km explains it

Yup. Vingegaard will put a minute on Lipo if he rides his own tempo

PdB performance will never be matched. It’s clear that something was up that day with Remco or even Landa outperforming themselves.
PdB '24 was just perfect for setting the best climbing performance in history. Jorgenson very hard pace from the bottom. Jonas already attacking with 10 km left and going with a very hard pace to try and drop Pogi. Then Pogi going all-out, dropping Jonas from 5.5km left after being in the wheel the whole time.

I'm just saying he was not on his Pdb level, that's it. Btw vingegaard was one minute slower than he was in 2022, that's a lot, to me vingegaard's level today was the biggest surprise
I think there were different conditions. At the Pdb 3 riders beat Pantani record and Landa was near the same. With all due respect, Remco and Landa aren't as good as Pantani. Plus they almost did a MTT with Jorgenson and Jonas who just launched Pocagar.

Maybe but clearly there were some conditions that day that allowed everyone to do their best numbers ever: weather, stage layout, wind, drafting, etc.
Pretty significant tailwind that day, I'm fairly sure the estimates for PdB are too high and Evenepoel's trainer admitted as such.

Wouldn't be surprised if today was a similar level of performance from Pogacar.
