Yeah. He was resting today, I hope he is already thinking in the Tour-Vuelta double.Sivakov not good enough + Arensman very strong + an attack with 10km to go would have cost him too much energy
I don't know if he had a bad day, specially on a rainy day.Its a bad day a bit like 2023 marie blanque where his team paced all day but the difference in 2025 is that pogs bad day is jonas good day
He wants Arensmann to be that 1% of the peloton he sees after he retires.Very strange after yesterday's comments. He didn't look on the limit. Maybe he's just messing with us.
Its not just him, its the team, they didnt ride to expectations today. When Arensman had 3.30 and no gains where made i think Pogacar realised thatthey where never going to win thatVery strange after yesterday's comments. He didn't look on the limit. Maybe he's just messing with us.
really don't think it was a bad day, he was super easy, he put 4 seconds on vingegaard just increasing the pace for few metersIts a bad day a bit like 2023 marie blanque where his team paced all day but the difference in 2025 is that pogs bad day is jonas good day

I'm pretty sure Jonas went all-out with his attacks and Pog followed with ease. Then he even had enough to distance Jonas at the end.Are we are going to spinn this as Pog was just chilling?
Might it not be possible that legs weren't super after a crash and two hard days before this? That he might be a bit human after all?
Maybe you're not paying attention mate. Its a bad day a bit like 2023 marie blanque where his team paced all day but the difference in 2025 is that pogs bad day is jonas good day
Yeah, this looked like Couillole.Maybe you're not paying attention mate.
Pog was closing Vingegaard in the saddle.
He put 4 secs into him in the sprint nose breathing.
Spot on.He easily got away from Vingegaard's attacks and then le him easy.
He gave away the stage, just as he did with Steinhauser in the Giro.
I hope he wins on Loze. Kill some demons.Spot on.
Pogacar wants Ventoux and Loze. He won't care about La Plagne as well.

It was a sprint in the end so u expect him to drop jonas by a few meters. As i said before pog wasn't on his usual level today but he isn't exposed by it when his usual level is so much better than everyone & his team pacing hard all day also explains that they wanted to win the stagereally don't think it was a bad day, he was super easy, he put 4 seconds on vingegaard just increasing the pace for few meters
I hope so. He doesn't have rivals anymore so he can cruise in the Vuelta.Today actually makes me optimistic about Vuelta.
Pog is measuring his efforts.
I dont understand why he didnt attack..
So why did he burned his team? Fear of Johansson in the break? I dont think soCruise control by Pogacar. They decided not to attack today (they don't need anymore). He never seemed in troubles and his legs were good enough to distance Vingo instantly at the end of 5000 vertical meters stage. So no, I don't think he felt worse. This reminds me of stage 20 last year (stick to Vingo's wheel and stomp at the very end).
Defensive pacing. 2 Vismas upfront. So why did he burned his team? Fear of Johansson in the break? I dont think so
As someone already mentioned, I think it's similar to a combination of the Steinhauser Giro stage win and Couillole. When Jonas attacked, it's definitely a high pace and he just eased to Jonas' wheel without even going out of the saddle. It was a sprint in the end so u expect him to drop jonas by a few meters. As i said before pog wasn't on his usual level today but he isn't exposed by it when his usual level is so much better than everyone & his team pacing hard all day also explains that they wanted to win the stage
