So Pog said in the interview that he didn't have the firepower to counterattack and go to the finish. Instead he controlled and saved energy for the sprint.

Chill Pogi fans, it's not the end of the world. ;)

Tadej Pogacar on Eurosport: "I didn't have that firepower in me to counter Jonas and give it all to the finish. Chapeau to Arensman, incredible ride and well-deserved, I'm happy for him. And I'm happy to be in Yellow. "
Don't listen to Pog's interviews, man.
I don't pay attention anymore.
I won't forget his trolling in the Dauphine.

Well... to be fair he "only" lost 6 minutes in the 'I am dead, I am gone' accident.

Therefore 10 min might do, I guess.
:p

Depends on what stage would happen. Anyway I am 99,99% sure it won't. TJV will have to crack him or something should go terribly wrong for him to loose it this year.

When Steinhauser won he said something similar, and that day it was very evident that he gave away the stage.
He mainly said that he was happy with how it went and that Steinhauser was really strong, but I don‘t think he said something about his own legs back then.

But they stopped. Yates was soft pulling or you think he was trying all out?
Come on...
Soler was pulling crazy and when they caught the Vismas they slowed down.

Was clear for me🙄

Despite Pog saying he's not here to make friends, he still doesn't want to win something like 9 stages, he knows that would be too excessive. 6-7 is fine.

All these accounts seem to work for Visma. I remember when LR was the same and claimed to have no connection with them :tearsofjoy:. Until they admitted it.

Do these people know that Simon Yates won a stage? UAE didn't stop him, and Simon just won the Giro against UAE, but they wanted to give him the stage, but not Kuss.

Since they can't criticize Pogacar for being a cannibal today, they have to say anything.

A disaster could still happen (crash, illness, terrible day) but his GC situation is great after the first mountain block. I mean 3 days ago some were wondering if he would be able to follow Jonas after the crash and now he's over 4 minutes ahead.
3 days ago people were giving up on the Tour because he was riding on an aero bike.

I mean, guy said he wasn't feeling well enough. Yet he still caught his main opponent SEATED and easily distanced him in a 200 meters sprint. All while he is in yellow with a gap of 4 minutes and evidently has the strongest teams. Despite "Yates being weak".
Get a grip.

Like everyone else, he looks a little tired. Besides, he won't sleep as well as he should because of the position of the arm.
