Yes, from a rational perspective, I agree with you.
But thinking on a mental perspective, it will be just too much for him to be stomped in back to back GTs.

If he isn't dropped in the Alps, he won't be on a bad place mentally. Even if he's dropped, he probably wouldn't be that bad.

The Tour looked bleak after Hautacam, but he proved competitive in the last MTF's. I see no reason for him to be in a bad place mentally.

Yeah. Let's remain positive and hope for the best. Tomorrow is the stage I wanted Pogacar to win the Tour after what happened in 2023.
Yes, and for sure he wants it.

He is tired of watching: "I am gone, I am dead", he said today.

Also, it's the queen stage.

UAE has a very simple job tomorrow: keep the break in a short leash, so if Vingegaard attacks, nobody from Visma can follow him, and also to prevent Visma riders upfront.

So, it's UAE job to have the initiative and control from the beginning. Let's see if they can.

That would mean Visma winning all three GTs another year. Most people are hoping for that, they don't seem to think that's a bad dominance.

Vingegaard hasn't droppe Pagacar go for too long; doppe him with a four-minute would be very odd given this trend. Without illness, it would be very strange.

Most people thought it was bad in 2023.
The Giro this year goes under the radar because of the way it was won, certainly didn't look like domination. The Tour wouldn't look like a domination as well.

If Visma were dominating both of the GC's, a lot of people would complain as well.
