Pogacar isn't the favorite for Roubaix, but Vermeersch is even less so. Last year he couldn't keep up with Van der Poel for a single meter. The idea of overtaking sounds good, but with MVDP and Alpecin after 2023 in Roubaix is impossible.
I just want to remind that Philipsen has been second two years in a row and last year he was the rider who go with them for several kilometers, not Vermeersch.

The same old argument. Pogacar isn't the favorite, but he's the only one close to MVDP in that race, but it's better to focus on a rider who can't even keep up with Philipsen.
Last year Vermeersch was stuck in the group behind when it exploded. He couldn't go to the front, because Pogacar was there and he would've brought along other riders.

It makes sense for UAE to give free reign to Vermeersch in Roubaix. It is often a free for all in the last 80km anyway.

I don't think this is contraversial. Much like at Alpecin Phillipsen has an element of freedom.

Ultimately the road (and in Roubaix often luck) will decide the selection. If they are both in the selection better two cards than one!

"Honest question to all fans:
If you find me in conversation with someone and you ask me for photo, I ask you to give me two minutes to finish talk. Do you wait 2 minutes or show me middle finger and take off angry? (And have your partner yelling at me?)

Long day ended with losing biggest fan 😢, btw i love you all. Heck i even like the fans that are not my supporters but don’t have attitude of spoiled teenager."

Rather simple. If somebody can't wait for two minutes and doesn't even handle their partner, yelling, then it most certainly doesn't deserve a photo. Bottom line refusing to take a photo with such person gives that person a reason and time to self reflect and on the long run hence improves the world.

Thanks Pogi for making the world a better place.

“The first thing you notice behind Tadej is that the pace which for the rest of us is sustainable for a few minutes, he can hold for a long time,” Tiberi said. “He has an incredible ease of pedalling and resistance.
On Prati di Tivo it was even more obvious because it was the finale and the speed was so high. ” Tadej '' Air Jordan'' Pogacar. At least a decade to understand that talent.

PCS just added Narváez to Giro.

This means that in the Giro, Almeida will have Jay Vine, and Yates and Narváez with fresh legs. Will UAE have a better mountain team than in the Tour? Nonsense.

With Vingegaard, in my opinion, it's a wastting efforts. Jay Vine and Yates aer enough. Almeida isn't going to beat a Vingegaard fresher than he was in the Vuelta. They're taking too many risks with injuries for the Tour, where they're favorites, not in the Giro.

Tour team looks good with Soler, Del Toro, Yates, Wellens and McNulty.

Add Sivakov and Politt... you have have a team with a ton of experience.

Obsessing over it in Feb is just hilarious.
Same thing last year on this topic by same culprint, no matter how ridiculous it looked compared to reality on the road when guys like Wellens, narvaez can isolate the entire peloton literally 3v1 for pog in both dauphine and tdf with their best dnf even. Im sorry but its getting to a point where its tiresome when its this made believed.

Next thing we gonne hear is Sivakov of all people is disloyal cause he got sick, why make up stuff theres no need.

Are we complaining about UAE will have the best climbing team in the Giro while taking on a superior rider in Jonas while simultaneously Pogacar will have the best support above all in the Tour? Exactly what are we crying over at this point besides just crying is what I wonder?
