Blimey, this thread has exploded a bit since I last checked in. I took @mou's first comments with a pinch of salt but it is pretty clear to me now, he is genuine. @mou have you p*ssed off UAE? You were being followed by Jeroen Swart yesterday and now he has unfollowed

I think I know who @mou is but don't want to expose his identity if it means he stops posting....

I don't care about the UAE and feel free to say what you think about who I am... you have my permission and even a request to say 😉

Why would it matter to Visma if they get some power data on Pogacar? Basically you can back-calculate what he did on Colle Pinzuto, Le Tolfe, Cipressa and Poggio. I have never really understood why power files should be so secret. What should you do with that info when there are so many other unknowns?

What I would really want to see is the build-up riders like Pog, Van der Poel etc do during off-season and in advance of major races.

but there is no his performance in training after specific efforts after 4-5 hours of training and believe me these races in 2024 did not require those efforts and numbers that Pog has right now

So what you are saying is that UAE does not want to reveal the build-up program? Makes sense. That I would consider is proprietary and valuable information. We all know it entails some general principles such as z2 volume paired with high intensity stuff (polarization) but exactly how/what/etc is unknown. On the other hand - even if we had 100% transparency - I am not overly convinced that it would change that much. Not even a rider like Vingo can transform himself into a Pogacar. At their level genetics play a significant part.

The ex-post / race data are less controversial? We just have to watch what happened and not much to be gained from that more than realizing that Pog has an extraordinary capacity and that very few riders can follow him.

I think the best signing of the year for the UAE would be Arensman, whose contract expires this year, I would consider him the ideal man for the Pogačar train, ahead of Sivakov and behind Del Toro, an ideal signing

I think Arensman are off to Visma.

UAE are probably going hard for Philipsen and start bringing sprinters together with 3-4 GC riders.

and that's why Matxin has been trying in the last 2 days to find out who is behind this account @mou, if he's reading this now, the message is for him to be a little more careful about who he puts on the team with Pog and to put Ayuso down a bit, otherwise there could be big riots if it's published complete Pog plan of preparation for the winter and before the races and 😘😘
