From Pogačar point of view, we are possibly talking about 10+ years of racing. Such decisions hence are likely long term ones.

You're right. I thought it was near Sestriere (read about their camp there) but this is near Mont Blanc indeed (the first image of your last post is clearly west side of the massif, I hiked there a few years back).
