Hard to say what his motives are but likely building up a bigger fan base is indeed one of them. Especially if he wins Tour of Slovenia and nationals.

He discusses Dumoulin’s comments saying that Dumoulin could have finished closer if he had changed bike, that he beat him on all other stages ans that Dumoulin was not in his greatest form last year.

Pog has been strong from the start of the season. Can he up this level even more? Let's see what kind of form he can prepare for the Tour, hoping for great things by him. The best ski-jumper in the peleton should be in lifetime form there as well.

You're right. I thought it was near Sestriere (read about their camp there) but this is near Mont Blanc indeed (the first image of your last post is clearly west side of the massif, I hiked there a few years back).

I see here that Dumo also had a helmet to small in that TDF TT; I guess they tested this in the wind tunnel
