They were even in the climbs last year, with the exeption of a day where he blew up completely.

Not really Vingegaard gained 1 minute* on the climbs while Pogacar 36(?) seconds so Vingegaard was still better in the mountains.
And Pogacar gained most of his advantage after Vingegaard attacked 60km from the line

His racing is entertaining but it's getting to a point where I'm hoping someone properly lays into him in public for all his entitled remarks and disguised salty comments.
Did Vingegaard complain about defensive riding when he sat on his wheel the whole of Tourmalet and Cauterets last year? Heck even in Paris-Nice 2023 he didn't cooperate on stage 4 after Vingegaard attacked and just sat on his wheel waiting for the group to comeback before eventually going himself.
Did Pedersen whine like a little biatch when Pogacar sat on him and WVA after MVDP attacked last Worlds and mugged him in the end for 4th?

His team nuked it when they saw Vingegaard had a mechanical, why would a skinny fish who sits on the wrong bike work with him only so that he can obliterate him on the flat into a headwind later?
Kind of getting sick of this blatant character propaganda crafting, you can hope that your opponents make mistakes in the race, that's fine, just don't whine about it afterwards when they don't.

Dont have pbm with ving's tactics today. The pbm is if he doesn't get proactive in the mountains after his team pulls and stays reactive like on jaux plane last year. That would kill cyclismo passion!

I agree to large part awell and I was a critic under the stage but thats mostly also cause I wanted him to ride away with the two others. I can understand the logic of him not wanting that however the long range one, I have no problem with that logic, thats smart racing of him indeed.

This stage wasn't designed to have gaps and his crew (Yates, Almeida, Ayuso) didn't lose time today. Now, their favourite part of the race will start. Wednesday looks pretty good for a Pogacar's win and there is a chance of rain.

Watched the stage and im still in awe/shock how strong he is after the Giro, I will never get.

The way he can leave the entire peleton in complete awe I will never get used to either (we will never see it again like Kelly said today - goes without saying) its just out of this world...
Just a different bread and it seems like baby Pog has been borned aswell in Evenpoel and im all here for it.

Enjoy summer people im going to watch stage 16 live first time as I am in Montpellier then. Any advice to how to not behave watching a stage live? Or other advice in general watching beeing around the show,tips and tricks are welcomed.

He's getting very annoying. He's shooting bullets like crazy and not gaining enough on anyone. He's racing is tactically so so wrong. But he gets away with it, because he's simply so strong. He's a bully and expects others will help him with it.

I hope he gets humbled soon. 100% Vingegaard would kick his ass and he knows it.

Best rider in the world by far. I have never seen someone so talented. His only weakness is mental, not riding smart at times. He still needs to mature.

Jorgenson humbled Pog today, left his wheel to go help his teammate and then rode back up to Pog.
Sure, Pog had been on the attack for a while with his nose in the wind, but you look for anything you can to make Pog look human.

Pogacar isnt riding with a fractured wrist this year so people are back to praying. Even if it wasnt a hard mountain stage in headwind aswell he completely blew everyone up in 6-700meter like. Noone this entire year hasnt been able to stay on his wheel for more than 600meter uphill without blowing completely up and it happened even there everyone saw that. Even if it was headwind and not the hardest mountain. Im afraid for the rest come next weekend if he dont crash..

If he dont crash untill stage 14 and giro fatigue hasnt kicked in. I fear for the rest uphill on a proper mountain stage when everyone on stage 4 literally blew up trying to follow his speed for 600meter in headwind even low gradients.
A proper mountain stage like stage 14 I cant see who will follow him uphill more than 1k without completely blowing up like all year pretty much has showned no matter where.

He is so strong its hard to fathom indeed. He leaves the entire peloton in complete awe. and to their knees on a stage like this which wasnt selective even...its hard to imagine ----on top of that after he won the Giro with 10min..

We never will see a rider like him again its just insanity. Watched what Gilber and Lance and Thomas said today everyone is just on their knees blo.... him.

Vingegaard will quite likely be able to follow if in top shape. Probably no one else even if Remco looking better than ever.

easy race so far for pog.he looks fresh as a daisy,very different than last year.finally he isnot pulling anymore after jonas starts wheelsucking,he just stops and rests,lol.remco did take some shots at jonas,but pogs comments were taken completelly out of context.jonas is doing a lot more talking than pog.biggest threat to pog so far,boredom.like he said 80% of tour is garbage racing.on climbs uae will destroy other teams,their doms are screwed,they are doing ton on work on flat.
