He's right, for some reason experts, commentators and journos are so extremely obsessed about conserving energy. And when the riders conserve energy, they are mad that the stages are boring.
Yea exactly so never change I get the logic behind it even but thats not why people turn no the tv its beacuse of him and when he is that much stronger if properly dont effect him as much as one would think it normally does tot others. Its just one of a kind.

Im lost of words at this point after the Giro.I knew the 2023 was just wishful thinking by fans now that he is not injured you see just how much better he is than anyone else and even im surprised how much when you factor in the Giro which has never been done im honestly speechless how good he is. The BOAT for sure what a spectactle to witness. Vingegaard was in disbelief after the stage of the numbers dont know why he was unless he expect to ride vs injured pogacar his entire career.

This was just something else. One for the books.

He even looked the least tired at the end. He will just ride away from them with ease again tomorrow.

He should be obligated to race with a fractured wrist from now every race either that or sprint on every flat stages and come top 10 if not hes kicked out just to even it out a little.

Don't jinx him. That broker wrist cost some of us LBL anticipated showdown and also 3rd week of 2023 TDF edition which was epic until "I am gone. I am dead." ;)

Indeed, spectacular performance. Didn't even notice initially. Better than anything Vingegaard has shown so far (see above). Marie Blanque coming closest.

Yeah I mean I wont jinx but a crash has always been the thing stopping him. If he is at 100% its never been close. Thats just the reality of it.

Which also again puts Vingegaard a bit in perspective. He probably could have found additional Watts - everything else would just defy any logic. But he seemes to have reached a level very close to last year actually.

Impressive indeed.
Not 100% certain yet about these numbers, though - given the fact that around 15 riders finished within 1:30 or less. If above numbers are true, also all these 15 riders would have had extraordinary W/kg today (above 6.5, I guess), right?

Well no need to discuss if hes the best climber in the peloton anymore with people using the time he had a fractured wrist as an example...This just puts that to bed forever thankfully. What a performance crazy numbers!!!

And this guy will win vs Van der Poel next year in flandern too?

How is it possible to not love him again?

Well, more than the wrist the coach made the big difference
Im sure that did too. But neglecting the wrist I just find that so hillarious if thats not telling yourself things just cause you wanne hear it and removing the part he had a fractured wrist is so funny never said you did at all I know you didnt but you get what I mean:tearsofjoy: But your right coach influence alot ofc.

But yeah still the point stands this puts that to bed once and for all for sure. Insane numbers!!
