I can see your reasoning but I wouldnt want him to change but thats my two cents. He clearly just loves to race and thats it :sweatsmile: He is why most people turn on the tv to watch I think if not for him it would almost only be nerds watching this. He makes it into a show how strong he is.

I get what your saying though and your right from a logical standpoint ofc right now properly. Maybe he thought he just wanted to make sure he stay out of trouble cause of the technical finale? And he is just so strong he dont care idk wouldnt worried. Heard people talk from the peleton when other was at their limit he wouldnt understand why people was think it was the former Jumbo guy Nathan on Eurosport.

What im saying it might not have cost him much at all like it logical would for everyone else inclduding we watching thinking it would, from his standpoint thats hard to know. Expect him to drop a nuke on everyone tomorrow if not ill join you getting worried ;)

Did you see the crash? That's why. There is a reason the favorites ride just about the same way everyday.

Practising before tomorrow's sprint vs Vingo. Can't be beaten by a no fast twitch muscles guy two times in a row and still be the G**T.

Nvm with the energy, in the grand scheme of things that means nothing after a such like this, but we saw again today that sprinting is not safe, so its incredibly stupid to try to contest nonetheless. Even more stupid than him trying to do leadouts for Molano this Giro.

He needs to be smart today and tomorrow. If he can control and even ride away from Jonas, he should be the winner in Nice. If he goes one too many times or attacks too early, like with 40, 50 km to go, he’ll crack and will lose minutes, as he did the last two years. I hope he’s not foolish enough to make the same mistake 3 years in a row.

I am interested to see when (not a question of if for me) Jonas attacks.
