I have to admit that I completely failed in my predictions for today.
On the other hand, the UAE must be recognized as having the PERFECT perfect tactics, even more so than Pogacar's victory itself. They had total control since the beginning, meanwhile cooking Visma, then they launched Yates forcing Jorgenson , the last man, to be consumed. At that point on "easy" and more suitable slopes, Pogacar attacked certain that Vingegaard could not receive any help. Simply perfect

@Medvind ;)

the long mountains with 2023 as reference when we know he wrode in pain even can we stop that now its wild cope:sweatsmile:

Well well. He just rode away again and dropped vingegaard with ease like weve seen every mountain this tour and entire year. No idea why some people would not believe it would happen again. I made bank atleast.

The eyes never lie

Hats off to Pog and UAE, they played it perfect today and Pog was just superstrong in the end.
Very smart to attack before the lower gradients in the end where Pog has a clear poweradvantage over Vinge. Did the same thing on Tourmalet stage last year.

Clear advantage now, Vinge and his team got a bit exposed today.

Confidence is back, he will be hard to stop.
I never went scared before these stages and never once didnt believe he would just ride away easy again like weve seen every stage with mountains this entire year he wants too. Not that that matter at all but I didnt hide or was scared like many others before this stage:sweatsmile:

The eyes never lie bro

Maybe we haven't. pogacar is capable of a burst getting 30 secs of Vingegaard but JV always reels him in. Tad has thrown everything at him so far and got just a few secs on climbs.

Vingegaard is going to destory him from this point on.

This post didn't age well.

Having said that, tomorrow is another day, and it's a tougher MTF with warmer conditions, so let's see what happens. Vingegaard is not necessarily dead yet.
