Read somewhere that Pog beat Pantani‘s record at Beille by about three minutes. Can that be true? I mean three minutes are a lot. And Pantani (1998?) went quite full gas from the start of the climb, I think I remember this day quite well.
Pantani didn't attack until around 9 minutes into the climb, and the start was ridden allowing Ullrich to come back from a puncture.

Well then Im doing it wrong. It made little sense to me either since I thought there should be a bigger diff on 20 min vs 1 hour, but thats what we were trained to. Maybe something like *0,90 then?
The correct coefficient would vary by rider.

Personally I prefer a ramp test when calculating my own training zones. I don't see any particular value in the "60m steady effort" definition of FTP.

I still want to know how anyone came up with 520w. If we know Pog did 520w for some period of time such as 20 minutes, we can just compare that to all the other 20 minute efforts in history. No reason to guesstimate that into a magic value called FTP that no one can agree how to measure.

Ok, I have a weird theory, is Mou actually Pogi himself trolling everyone? I imagine that any other UAE employee would be too scared to share such sensitive information but to Pogi it would just be a joke

Pogačar at 100% with 65 kg means that at the end of each stage on the Giro, Pog can leave in the dust whoever he wants and who will win both TTs, and Pog 100% on the Tour means everything the same as on the Giro, only with 1 kg less, and that's you my friend means that if he is ready for the Giro after 4 hours he will have 6.78w/kg on the final hill which lasts 30 minutes and he will have 6.9w/kg on the Tour
Mou is a fraud. Pog did not win both Giro TTs

This is just beyond pathetic now, to be honest. In Pog thread, half of the time we are now discussing not Pog, but a rude poster with no respect towards anyone who repeatedly got temporary bans, learned nothing from them until finally (and rightly so) he was banned permanently. I understand mou-martyr is a meme more than a real thing but still, it is disturbing you guys have nothing else to talk about after a stage like yesterday than a silly poster who got what was coming to him…

Vingo and visma will regroup and improve. This will be motivating. Yates and Kuss and maybe Cian with Jorgensen and hard ass roleurs they have will be ready and at the wait. The only question is where is Vingo’s max?
I think visma are now back to the drawing board like in 2022 they need another vingegaard(co leader) in the team to win the tour. Yesterdays gap with 1:08 in 5km is too much to close in the coming years especially considering pog is doing this to them only working for one year with sola🥺 in 2 to 3 years he will just be a machine.

I do think they already have their co-leader on the hands or at least lieutenant. Give Jorgenson 1 more year and relief him from some of his duties and he can be a real card (until he isn't anymore ofc, not expecting him to be close at all), but thats the way the wind is blowing. Remember he also crashed.

UIjtebroeks?

Or just get Remco, but he seems Red Bull bound.

Jorgenson is no where near those guys level his physiology is different as well with 70+ kilo. What I meant was they need to create another vingegaard to have a chance of competing with this pog and lets be honest this pog aint gonna care about even roglic being co leader

Jorgenson crashed hard on stage 2.

He said he hurt himself pretty badly so the jury is still out on whether he could have been better here (obviously nowhere near the top 3 but still a little bit closer).

I actually think Matteo has been very disappointing.
You cannot tell me that with a straight face. Jumbo have had him and Kelderman (especially Jorgensen) be on the frontlines on every stage, he has crashed and still climbed brilliantly yesterday (dno what Benoot and especially Tratnik have been doing the entire race tbf). He's a big part of crosswinds attack and defending on the gravel as well..

Put any rider in those circumstances and I doubt they are climbing better than Matteo at this stage outside of riders like Remco and Pog. That crash was no small crash tbf.

Don't tell me you expect him to lose so much time in the mountains.
