imagine:tearsofjoy: Nevertheless it all seem to be correct(from whats been told to me and quoted to the point) pretty epic.

Rest day im sure many users here aswell as riders also needs that after what we just witnesssed yesterday.

I concluded that I will go through mou statements after TDF is finished. TBH I was laughing at some of his claims but if we tone down the most outlandish by 10 percent or so I guess most of them came true by now.

I actually think Matteo has been very disappointing.
He somewhat has actually if you go Dauphine and many expected him to be better than that aswell. I see a pattern here from last TDF too he is obvious strides better than that but so far GT is not his best terrain. Yet atleast. And not saying he has been bad cause I dont think that just think he has been somewhat subpar to expectations from dauphine etc.

These days, it must be a suffer to be a GC rider. They know they can't follow Pogi/Vingo by any instance and their race is just follow Pogi or Vingo's domestiques until they decide to blow the race. His race is just doing a steady tempo until the finish. It must be so dreadful to train so hard and see Pogacar/Vingegaard having more 20/30 watts than them in every single climb.

I dmed Matxin on IG and said lets not sprint on stage 16 would be weird or shall you with evil emoj and he replied lets see with a thumbs up and laughter emoj. Epic

You cannot tell me that with a straight face. Jumbo have had him and Kelderman (especially Jorgensen) be on the frontlines on every stage, he has crashed and still climbed brilliantly yesterday (dno what Benoot and especially Tratnik have been doing the entire race tbf). He's a big part of crosswinds attack and defending on the gravel as well..

Put any rider in those circumstances and I doubt they are climbing better than Matteo at this stage outside of riders like Remco and Pog. That crash was no small crash tbf.
Tratnik performed his roll with flying colors, give Vingegaard his bike when it was needed.

If he wins the Tour im sure it will take off more. Also its the Tour i just joined before doesnt the tour bring the most attention span of the year anyway?

MSR is nice but I rather want him to focus on other things first. Hopefully its more like a side quest than anything else its not that important is it?

Just wild stat. Dude is a animal. He should just do the giro-tour next year aswell. I know he properly wont saw he dont wanne get things boring by doing the same maybe Tour + vuelta?
Just hope he sticks to Strade and Liege aswell next year.
I hope to see him doing Vuelta in near future. Less sprinter's stages, lots of hilly and medium mountain punchy stages and also some real climbing on the way.

Agree less sprinter stages just a big big risk of crash and a element of luck involved not my cup of tea. Would like to see him in the Vuelta aswell again soon and think it will happen soon. Isn't always more climbing stages in general in Vuelta.

Last few editions were full of middle mountain stages that suit him perfectly. At least they did. Now he apparently is more suited for long climbing :D :tearsofjoy:;)

In terms of route, Vuelta is tailormade for Pogacar. I can't see any type of Vingegaard dropping him in Vuelta's climbs
I would suggest caution. Once Jonas has completed the Tour, he will certainly reach top form and make up for the gap in April's preparation. Pogacar, despite having run the Giro with one leg, is not sure that he will not be affected by the effort of the double. There is no plan for the triple, it would be a leap in the dark. Without specific preparation, the best way is to aim for the world championship where he will find two of the favorites (Wout and MVP)who come from the Olympics as the main target and may not be at the top.

Dont think anyone is suggesting Vuelta this year. I think thats overdoing it while he properly could win it it can hamper him the upcoming seasons. WC is way more attractive for me and I guess thats the plan and always has been aswell.

Exactly i dont think the plan changes after this tour. I guess once the tour is done the training will change to shorter climbs for the WC
