Yes, of course it is, he is the first to achieve.
It is an awesome feat.

But, again, imho he trade both medals for a TDF right now without blinking.
I bet he doesn't right now. He is 24 and has enough reasons to back his chances to win at least one TdF in future You sound like he has zero chances of winning the Tour.

Maybe in 10 years he would consider such a thing but I doubt that even then he would do it.
Olympic gold on itself isn't the biggest prize but having golds in WCRR and TT and OGRR and TT is something we won't see soon. The whole set of titles is more worthy than a single Tour IMHO.

Everyone has a chance of winning the Tour. Unless Vingegaard and Pogacar crash out, he will not win the Tour. Gap is massive!

Yeah like the gap between Vingegaard and Pogacar last year was impossible to close. If one rider can improve 10-15 % between 24 to 25, others can to?
The gap between Vingegaard and Pogacar never was big. NEVER! Last year, they were a lot closer compared to this year. Do you think Remco was closer to Vingegaard than 2023 Pogacar to 2023 Vingo? If you think that, you are clueless.

Fabulous performance from Remco but hard work to shake off the conviction that Pogacar would at worst have held the wheel and been heavy favourite in a 2 up sprint and likely sroooed him on the final time up Montmartre.
Not sure why Pog would be able to follow since it wasn’t his type of profile at all. He didn’t have to go to the Olympics because he wouldn’t stand a chance. Now that Remco wins he suddenly could? lol, Pogacar has never shown to win such a race, against these type of riders in such a manner.

Here's a big difference between Pog and Remco: Pog can win any race that he enters; Remco can't.

Pog has a good chance at winning Paris-Roubaix; Remco, not so much.

Remco does what he does very well but come on, he's not the next Merckx.

Everyone is so sure that Pogacar could have followed Remco, but somehow MVDP couldn't, when he's proved to be a better one day racer than Pog on courses like this. It's not just about legs in races like this. I guarantee Pog would have been marking MVDP and finished 3rd-4th, as usual.
