I think the same but it will be enough to beat Pogiand Vingo? I don't think so.
What makes you think vingegaard is close to pogacar even after this Tour. Did it look close in the mountains to you at all? You do know VIngegaard have never been better right? and that 3 months is no problem getting into top shape so its basicly just wishful thinking he will improve much next yeah in my opinion and as it is not its Pogacar then everyone else after thats just facts.

Where come this nonsense about Remco being able to beat Vingegaard in the future?
It comes from Remco doing better numbers on Plateau de Beille than anything Vingegaard did when he was 24yo despite Remco breaking his collarbone this spring and training as a GT-specialist for far shorter.

I'm not confident either way but it's perfectly reasonable to think Remco could improve significantly from 24 to 27 just like Jonas did.

The thing is Bernard Hinault had serious doubts Vingo would be competitive, much less pushing his best numbers ever (supposedly). If Hinault doesn't think 3 months is enough, I don't know whose opinion matters.

Think its 20 cases of people saying its not hard to get in top shape in 3 months at least former proes and cyclist ( look at Crass this year even too its normal to achieve that the other way around is not the norm) ITS however a questionmark regarding the entire Tour indeed duo to the super rest which is needed in-between training for that base for week 3 which it isnt time for thats it, thats a given but it doesnt increase the top level thats the difference it only enchance the week 3 endurance.

To make it very easy and blunt cause this really isnt hard at all basic stuff really cause the numbers is very clear.

Its Pogacar then its everyone else and the gap is huuge.

Vingegaard second followed by Evenepol not that far behind. Evenepoel is 24 with more room to improve than Vingegaard on paper just like Pogacar even which is crazy, what will happen however remains to be seen around that Evenepoel might never get closer to Vingegaard or he might time will tell but Pogacar is milees ahead and only missfortune can stop him thats just bottom line easy stuff no need to discuss it even basic as it gets.

After these numbers been presented anyone twisting that makes it hard for themselves cause the gap in reality is enourmous he is simply climbing at a level which no one deemed was possible 1 year in with the new coach. People can debate and wish all they want, he made it look easy while doing numbers which is so far ahead of anyone and even people thought was possible its almost scary considering if he might have more to go on even absolutely crazy.

He also did that WHILE doing something people considered impossible in modern cycling (Giro- Tour double)..when it all sink and the reality of it people can wish what they want its not even remotely close, its more close behind him.

I think people in cycling look at crashes such as bernals and froomes to size up recovery to capacity. Outwardly the injuries to Vingo looked serious with recovery doubtful in the short term. Someone or something was wrong. Or Vingo has a different gear they’ll be hiding heading into 2025 tdf

Everyone is better so Vingegaard with a optimal preparation would be better for sure.

But the Giro-Tour double which was deemed impossible to do it in the fashion he did also while 1 year in with the coach ofc course he can be even better to and thats scary when the gap is so huge as it is now.

I think Vingegaard will be a little better relative to Evenepoel too, he is good never disliked him its. I think stage 15 is something strenght wice which I expect next years. Pogacar climbing ability now is simply put something weve never seen before in history, next level

I think he does Slovenia as well, but who knows. UAE is really shite and I hope he doesn't race tbh, its just such a useless race and does nothing really. The rest of the schedule I really like, especially the Flanders part, because you better believe I'll be there once again!

For sure no way he is riding slovenia again in his prime. Maybe much much later in his career. No with so many races to add to his palmares.

I also saw Fleche wallonne above somewhere. He isn't riding that ciciban race ever again.

I think his camp said maybe to tour/vuelta in 2025 to get people to stop asking them about the vuelta this year. That’s literally the only indication we’ve gotten aside from mou’s prophecies

I think he wants to do the Ardennes treble one time. He was close in 2023 but a crash took him out.
