I like Contador a lot more since he’s retired. Especially the way he celebrated his riders win from the press box in the giro (I think). That sort of enthusiasm from as much as he’s accomplished is infectious

I'm kinda excited to see Vingegaard aiming for the Tour. Maybe he will not ride the Giro and make Tour-Vuelta. Pogacar vs Vingegaard rivalry in 2 GTs. Insane!

Haha chill bro , Peyroteo is with us in Pogi gang :tearsofjoy:
Its all good bro hehe and idc about gangs more so about pure logic but this constant overestimation out of nowhere is just hillarious and based on nothing but emotions which are just sad to read when not based on numbers, kinda tiresome just cause someone beat Pogacar when he was hurt which a dozen of other riders woulda done too - based on numbers not my opinon. Its all good though yeah just wild:sweatsmile:
Is that right? 4 stage wins in the tdf ever?
Yes, and again more than one of those..

Nevermind the crucial numbers are and will remain: NP, IF and RPE, FTP. They never lie nor do they have any bias check em out its otherwordly how much Pogacar is ahead of everyone on everything from everyone at this very best numbers in their careers, everyone its actually almost sick when you watch it how much the difference is.. Ill say it so the guys back in the room hear it too, in case they confuse themself everyother day and not. - if Pogacar is at his top level theres nothing anyone else can do besides Pogacar himself, he is the bogeyman of the story, if he is at max level, he wins as many stages as he and the teams deems fit without any crashes or blunders which again is well then based on Pogacar more so than anyone else.

It would be a little easier without the Contador avatar. I have ptsd from that gang especially florecita
PTSD from Contador's fans? How do you think that Pog/Remco/Roglic worship are any less traumatic for non fans? Different style, same zeal. It's funny to read it in one of the "Big 3" threads (I don't think MvdP or the Visma guys have a real gang here, just some scattered individual fans), it has all really come back now.

There is definitely a Vingo gang. Very loud and pronounced. It’s a little quiet here and elsewhere after this summer for sure. I’m sure they are hoping to be on top again

I also like Vingegaard. Of course my favourite rider is Pogacar but we don't need to hate Pogacar's rivals just because they are his rivals. I will never bash a rider based on this so I don't belong to any gang.

There are bonus seconds for podium finishes, but not for mountain tops that aren't finishes
Oh thanks. I don't know if I like this, bonus seconds in mountain tops would give us action further away now I expect Pogacar to wait until the finish line in stages 2, 4, 6.

Yup. While I'm obviously not the biggest Vingo fan :p one has to respect this amazing stage racer and appreciate this historic rivalry: 4 consecutive top2 at the Tour and counting. Vingo is one of the best climbers ever and has been Pogacar's biggest rival (not expecting any change in this regard in the near future).

Are you me? I have really problem because i like all guys from big 4. Pogi and Remco are just funny to watch..Rogla amazing fighter and we just need Jonas to be Pogi's cryptonite. Really smart rider and i really like him because of that.

Looking to the Big 6, I just don't cheer for WVA and Roglic. WVA due to his lack of winning mentality, he is so good but developed a inferiority complex towards MVP and like to give classics to his teammates (sorry, real champions don't do this). Roglic is a wonderful guy and my heart is warming a little bit towards him but his lack of agressiveness in his prime, killed all the love I could have for him. Roglic is synonymous of boring and negative races. In his prime, mountain stages were uphill sprints. 2020 TdF was dreadful to see.
MVP, Remco and Vingegaard are riders I like a lot because they are agressive, they give us good races, good moments. The only thing I don't like about Remco are his fans (or sometimes Pogacar haters). Takes like Remco will be as good as Pogi without any evidence of that. I think the gap is getting bigger and bigger; Remco is a better one day racer. This is just mind blowing for me.

Just crazy how much i agree with you. Only exception is thing about Roglic (as you said lack of agressiveness) where i disagree with you. I would say 2019 and 2020 he was crazy agressive and stage when he sprinted out Gino Mäder was top of it. After that he had crash on Dauphine and was really careful with riding TdF 2020. He still almost manage to win it and hasn't realized how strong Tadej was already. After that he had every year some crazy crashes and couldn't even go all out. This year Vuelta was different because BOC suprised him soon enough in race and he was forced to attack. Your takes about WVA, MvDP, Jonas, Remco are same like mine. Thing about how people compare Remco and Tadej bothers me too, but we are thankfully talking about minority.

It was a mountain sprint.
