Jan Ullrich agreesI would call it a rest and go the the beach with my supportive Galfriend. Maybe get a tan and sup some cocktails. Life is short and GT winning careers shorter; best to ponder and appreciate, don't you agree?

UAE team sponsors and owners probably don't agree.I would call it a rest and go the the beach with my supportive Galfriend. Maybe get a tan and sup some cocktails. Life is short and GT winning careers shorter; best to ponder and appreciate, don't you agree?
Surely if GT winning careers are short then you should make the most of them by. doing 2 grand tours per year.I would call it a rest and go the the beach with my supportive Galfriend. I would... I have no idea what I'd do.I would call it a rest and go the the beach with my supportive Galfriend. Maybe get a tan and sup some cocktails. Life is short and GT winning careers shorter; best to ponder and appreciate, don't you agree?
Needs to be a lot better than this in Lombardia tbh, even if it suits him more.Strong race after been having some rest and training after Tour and Olympics.
He is one of many that could win Lombardia.
Can we react now that he got dropped uphill by a sprinter and a flat rider?Bit of overreaction to this ITT imo. It's a one day ITT, and an extremely flat one.
It's a bit off, but it's not like "so *** we can forget about the rest of the season"
Is there any doubt that he will be better in a month? He seems quite clearly to be on an upwards trajectory.Needs to be a lot better than this in Lombardia tbh, even if it suits him more.
Sure.... he was exhausted. But no matter how down he is put him in a group like that... especially 2 uae teammates from the tour and he's not gonna drop completely. I'm impressed with 5th but I know he'll be better able not topnform but definitely better. If he's there with the best he'll rise.to their level. 6 million is a decent motivatorCan we react now that he got dropped uphill by a sprinter and a flat rider?
He did have a UAE teammate yesterday, i.e. Hirschi.Sure.... he was exhausted. Guys it was obviously a ridiculously rouleur favored course. Can we react now that he got dropped uphill by a sprinter and a flat rider?
Hirschi (6th) and Trentin (4th) he came in right between the two. In one interview I saw I think he said (was translated from Slovenian) that that group knew they weren't gonna be able to medal and catch the French guy in 3rd. So I think they all at least the three of them decided to.shoe for UAE more than anything. Nomone was really sprinting too hard there at the finishHe did have a UAE teammate yesterday, i.e. Hirschi.
And yes, Hirschi pulled for Pogacar after he was dropped by Evenepoel's attack.
I don't think he needs a peak form to fight for victory in Lombardia (or at least a podium place) but he will need a very decent condition, better than recent for sure.Pogacar was flying in both the spring and the Tour, it's generally really hard to peak a third time in a year.
What kind of a statement is that? He has ridden one race between the Olympics and the Euros...Tadej hasn't been in a good form recently so his 5th place at the EU championship is a decent result. He was dropped by Remco so their 10-year war has officially begun. Hopefully he'll be ready to fight for victory in Lombardia.
Love her shoes. But he's too young to be engaged, lol.
Apparently Slovenians get engaged early. That said they did wait over 3 years and were friends a year and a half before then. I mean they've lived together that whole time in monaco too. A lot of the riders seem to marry young or have a kid young. Normally I'd agree and say too young, but these two really have been each other's world. Urskas mom had been fighting a nasty blood cancer and hasn't been doing well... the timing may have had something to do with that since they announced it from her home town and he was interviewing there about worlds yesterday. Who knows, but I mean it was going to happen eventually so why not. They've been each other's rock through all this.Love her shoes. But he's too young to be engaged, lol.
Wish them a happy future!
Plus poor performance at the EU TT championships. Long lasting? I said recently. What kind of a statement is that? He has ridden one race between the Olympics and the Euros...
And okay, he did explode there, but it has hardly been a long-lasting period of bad shape.
