I guess Pellizzari would be even more full of praise if Pogacar did the right thing and leave him win the stage.
Not to mention that Pogacar could benefit mich more in the long tern like a certain Contador did.
Point is, if we didn't win a (road) stage yet or needed the bonuses, or Pellizzari was from a rival team, or it was the queen stage, or... I would get it.

But attacking in the last KM to get a win you don't need from 21 years old kid from a small Italian team and then mask it with gifting him a jersey IS NOT a thing to be praised for, quite the opposite.
You can't be serious. It bike RACING. The "right thing" for Pogacar is to win races. People need to stop whining about that. Nobody gifts wins anymore to non-teammates. Also, he gave him the shirt after Pellizzari asked for his glasses.

Scrutiny around Pogacar is insane. Everyone expect him to be perfect and people put a lot of pressure in him. It is clear he can't impress everyone, if he does one thing, someone will criticize him, if he does the opposite, someone will criticize him too. Meanwhile a guy like Vingegaard can do whatever he wants, running away from the spotlight, "ignoring" fans, living his life normally and no one takes anything from him.
Remco has a lot of childhood behaves but somehow "it is part of his personality" and some people excuse him for being like that.

Vingegaard does get a lot of hate, too. Otherwise I haven't been doing my job right.

I don't know whether Pogačar was hyped less due to his nationality. I probably wouldn't have heard of him prior to his l'Avenir win if he hadn't been mentioned among top talents at the time.
Of course with what he has achieved since then in mind, then he obviously wasn't talked up enough, but then I also doubt many, if any, had expected his career to skyrocket like this.

Pogi gets less hate than both Vingegaard and Bambi.

And there's nothing exceptional about different people complaining about different things.

there is something really wrong about the new bike, it seems very heavy (it should be 7.45kg based on a gcn italia video), plus it forces a strange position. Pog has a really different and less effective pedal stroke (it seems). Lower cadence, much more power focused. I really hope he never uses this bike throughout the season. If you look at all the races UAE took part in (except UAE tour), they never used this bike, not even in sprint stages (look for example at algarve this week, even in sprint stages they all used v4rs). My worry is that since pog is the image of the team he will be forced to use this garbage. Colnago really has to step up, pog does not need an aero bike, he needs for now just v4rs and for the future an improved version of v4rs. Much improved since v4rs is quite bad compared to other non aero bikes in the peloton, but still for Tadej this year is much better than y1rs

They won't use a bike if he is significantly slower with it.
Maybe they still need to understand the best setup and this is why they are testing it.

I definitely feel like something is up with the new bike. The women’s team didn’t use it for the climbing stage a few weeks ago. I’m more interested if they will keep racing it, especially in races like the tour if the riders aren’t as comfortable on it? Maybe they just need to do some more tweaks to position and such.

They also got a new saddle sponsor which might have changed a few things.

well for climbing stages I have no doubt they will never use it, or at least I hope. The fact that they used it only in UAE and also on jabel hafeet where such a heavy bike is clearly bad tells me that there are clearly marketing reasons behind, I just hope they will only be a factor in UAE tour, and for the remainder of the season pog never uses it, except maybe for entirely flat races

They didn’t use it for the climbing stage at Algarve so there is hope
