So in case anyone hasnt been following Instagram lately. UAE training camp looks awesome. Tadej got 2nd in F3 car racing around the UAE racetrack behind Covi, then apparently was off roading a golf cart with several other UAE teammates (new guys had to stay in old kits per contracts), and he did the race/clinic pushing local kids on bikes and riding with the community there. Seriously these guys are having too much fun as I sit here and work on a Saturday.
Also even though its been shot down by his agent, the rumor that Ineos offered 3 times as much as UAE is interesting.... I'm guessing he didn't care about the money and enjoys being the guy of UAE, but also assuming he has a no exit clause in his contract. That said i don't think it really happened 18 million a year is insane for cyclists

But most don;t do cross. I'd say the crosswinds and echelons are the equivalent of the cold night in Stoke. Pogacar failed at this in 2020.
And he has to win the Tour with a team like Qhubeka before he's really proved himself.

But only Boom and De Maar did it on a Tuesday. But surely it would have been a Wednesday night as that was more usual time for the fixture. So EBH's both are on Wednesday. Henderson's is a soft Sunday race.

This is the last chance for Hamilton and Verstappen. Pogi is coming for them!
He seems like a very genuine and likeable guy. Just enjoying his time.
Tadej is a special cyclist: faster than Lance Armstrong, who has been the strongest rider in the history of the TdF until 2019. Furthermore, Tadej is likeable (which Lance wasn‘t), and looks young and still soft (Lance looked old and hard).
Tadej can (and probably will) go for six. Giro and Vuelta will have to wait (until 2026)...

He's capable of doing double tour vuelta.
He will dominate the next decade, nobody will get a chance against him.
Not just likeable, he's very humble.
Of course he won this race too... coming in number 2 behind covi on formula 3 racing

Bought Rafal Majka a signed bright yellow TDF Vespa. Kinda hilarious
Its impossible to know things will pan out 5 or 10 years from now as there are riders that could still challenge him and aren't professional yet but for now the only major threat seems to come from Roglić and Jumbo but time is on Pogačar's side.
It will be interesting to see if he rides the Vuelta next year after the Tour, it could be a good chance given that there are no Olympics this time and the Australian World Championships should be flatish but apparently he wants to follow the women's Tour de France in a campervan which is probably not the ideal preparation

Pogi is such a magnanimous young man. Next year he'll generously let Primoz lead the Tour for 19 stages (if the latter stays on his bike ofc).
It goes both ways, though. Primoz is also man of the people. He let Pogi have his two Tours early while he's still young. He knows Baby Eddy is coming and he knows Pogi is afraid of the angry man. Rogla is no afraid, though. Even the angriest of men finds peace when he gets a dose of Roglstomp.
There is so much altruism going around in Slovenia these days....I mean, in Monte Carlo.
