Yes, he will. I don't think you get it. You make your own interpretation as EE said. You see 'big numbers' and immediately think that must mean he can solo home from Cipressa which obviously is impossible. Mou doesn't claim that to be possible either.
I'm saying that if he's able to push those numbers and is as good as mou says, he'll be able to finish solo by a minute in MSR. I don't believe he will be able to do that, so I don't believe the numbers. That's it.

These numbers mean nothing if there is no option to attack and use those numbers. The highest elevation is only just above 500m. Cipressa and Poggio are small bumps.

San Remo is irrelevant for the preparation for the Giro, he rides it because if he wins, he can complete all the monuments in 2-3 years when he decides to ride the cube, his preparation is also 2 kg lighter than last year at this time, not because of San Remo, but because of the Giro- Tour and that in no way means that he will be better in Remo than last year, but it means that he will win at least 3 stages in Catalonia and the GC and that Vingo's performance in Tireno will look like the performance of an ordinary mortal compared to what awaits Kuss and the company in Catalonia
Give us the spoilers. How many w/kg pogacar will do in Vallter and Port aine?😀

for San Remo tailwind on Cippresa and people who can break the peloton at a strong pace on Cippresa and they are not covi, ullisi, gross.... but bjerg, mcnulty, del torro, exactly in that order so that in combination wellens full gas bottom on Poggio and then Pog goes nuclear, that's a solution, but Matxin is stupid to come up with something like that, unfortunately

Agree! And Hischi, Covi & Ullisi are not even in from!

Pog doesn’t need Cipressa and Poggio to get a gap, he’ll already be alone at the top of Turchino. He’ll be getting a nice 93 km training ride to the win.

There's more than 93 km left from the top of Turchino, but now that Sola has introduced Pogačar to the revolutionary concept of riding behind a scooter, his raw power might make it possible for him to literally move mountains.

But what is the basis for that conclusion? Do you have any calculations? That take into account an intact field doing relays on the flat part into the Poggio where Mathieu can sit enjoying a cigar before unleashing himself up the Poggio? You're just pulling 'a minute' out of your backside.

Yeah, the UAE team listed for MSR on PCS doesn’t make sense at all. Those guys aren’t in good shape. Don’t know why they won’t put guys like Bjerg, Politt, Del Toro, and McNulty, who are all in really good shape. Especially Bjerg, who was finishing around 2-3 minutes behind Jonas in the Tirreno mountain stages. Let’s see when the confirmed team gets announced.

I think the MSR team can still have some changes being made to it. Nothing confirmed.

But Ulissi, Wellens and Hirschi should be enough for this race.

Bjerg would be a good addition. Seems to be in great form.

I dont think anyone should expect much more changes to it.

Because saying his new base level is his level at De Ronde 2023, when he utterly destroyed the classics season, isn’t pulling anything out of your backside? Please…

That's neither here nor there and irrelevant to the point you're trying to make.

Whether or not he really has taken such a leap (I have my doubts too) we will see at the Tour. Not at Sanremo.

words directly from the boss:
"It was different this year because I have a new coach and the preparation strategies are different. I have the impression that almost everything is new. I trust the people around me, and the fact that by following the plan I can be competitive in the race: Who is your reference coach? Javier Sola, who is always part of the team's staff. Sometimes some type of 'shock' can be healthy for the body, so as not to always repeat the same things that we get used to. I think as a group we have managed to take another step forward. We are strong and I hope for a great year. It's a shame that the UAE Tour didn't go as we hoped, but there's the fall and retirement of Adam Yates, who was in great form, to consider. He could have won, but cycling is like that. I don't know, other than the fact that commitments are growing. But everything is going well and I was able to spend some good moments with my girlfriend Urska (Zigart, pro with Liv AlUla, ed.). I would say yes, even if in today's 'crazy' cycling you have to work harder and harder to stay at the top. After all, a high-level career isn't that long, you have to be one hundred percent concentrated. Afterwards, however, I won't lack free time...".

The Pog from Strade Bianche 2024 is the same level as the Pog from Flanders 2023, I don't know what you don't understand, low temperatures, rain, strong pace to Santa Maria and low temperatures, wind and fast pace of the race to Kwaremont, I tell you the same level, that they are all from the big three, four, whatever you want to call it, the Strade would be the same, an attack at 81 km and you never see me again

You said that Pog in Flanders 2023 is the new base level of Pog. I'm saying that's ridiculous knowing how he destroyed the classics season last year.

I agree, MSR was a bad example on my end. I'm just saying, mou is exaggerating, and he's saying is not realistic.

do you know what Pog's base level is, I think you have no idea, so what do you think this Pog for Strade Bianche was the 1st peek of the season, so did you see his face at the finish line, you will see the peek soon at the Giro and don't worry when he wins both TTs and mocks the competition in that field as well, if you want I can give you some information about that and who trains him privately in Monaco, who is his physio in Monaco and where he humiliated Bjerg and Ayuso at the TT test in February and Ayuso can't stand Pogacar with his eyes, I don't know if you knew that, but Pog doesn't pay attention to it, it can be a big problem on the Tour, but since he is Matxin's pet, his wish to be on the Tour has been fulfilled and he has no plans to be Pogi's domestic, regardless the weaker he was
