it was all due to the heat and exhaustion as a result of the same, which lasted from 7 stages of the Tour to the Col de Loze and the stomach could not digest it, the heat problem was solved by proper heat training for the 1st time in his life in 2024
From a performance side alone, a few sessions of heat adaptation doesnt fix or solve digestive issues. thats not what "heat training" is or does.

Ayuso has nothing to do on the Tour with Pogi, but that's not up to me to decide, Bjerg, Pollit, Wellens and little Morgado, Del Toro, Majka and Yates would be my choice because Majka is useful there and great for the atmosphere in the team, he has a great relationship with Pogi, it's not just about who is better in terms of numbers, but what kind of relationship he has with the captain
This isnt a Tour winning Team in terms of support. The current line up is significantly stronger and more experienced. It's the Tour, not Valencia.

Fair enough, but I didn't ask for 20 minutes or 1 hour efforts. I'm interested in 30 minutes and 45 minutes efforts.
To add to this is what he can do at 1700-2200m of altitude. All the number being thrown around my Mou are all basically at sea level with little starting elevation.
If for example he is only capable of going 5.5-5.7wkg for 35-45min at this elevation he wont be able to be ahead of Vinegaard.

my opinion is that little Morgado is already ready this year to be there for Pog, Del Toro too, you think Ayuso and Almeida will do better things, hm
As I said, you talking about the Tour de France. Not Valencia.

None of those 2 riders are ready for a full Tour winning support role right now. In the coming future, maybe sure, we will see but definitely not now. This is where your lack of knowledge is starting to show cracks.

You’re being pendantic here and elsewhere amongst some very interesting counterpoints. He can mean these teammates not going have qualities that are better suited to a winning support staff for pogi. Instead they are sending something different from a failure to culture qualities over years.

think whatever you want, if the numbers say that Morgado is better than Soler, then Morgado goes, if you didn't know, Morgado shows phenomenal numbers in terms of endurance at the training camp, he is young, fighting and will die for the team, the same for Pog at the Vuelta At 19 and a half years old, they said he was young, he couldn't last 3 weeks, and he finished 3.

Just because you push the numbers doesn't mean he's ready mentally for something as the Tour. You don't just drop a 19-year old in the circus that is the Tour as a dome for a yellow jersey contendor.

No, sending 2 neo pros at 19 to be full support to Tadej at the Tour - the Tour - is setting up for failure. You can spin what he says as much as you like cause when the time comes, numbers aren't the only thing that count.

We’ll never know if Morgado can or cannot unless he goes, which at this time, he is not. This doesn’t diminish @mou credibility. Just exposes differences in opinion for those without access to morgados numbers
Then send him to the Vuelta first, where he can dip his foot in the GT water. If Bora did one thing right with Uijtdebroeks it's slowly introducing him to the WT.

you really value the established opinion about the young and the old, the only one who would go without perhaps deserving is Rafal Majka, which is why all of us who are better informed know what Majka means to Pog, the rest works because that's what the numbers say and who wouldn't caused problems in the team, you know who the boss is, if the workers are not all 100% with the boss, everything goes to waste, why do you think that Andrej Hauptman is almost always with Pog, why is he a good DS ahahaha, no, he is desperate, but he speaks Slovenian What do you think Pog asked for Majka this year and Domen Novak on the Giro because there is no Hauptman, Matxin can assemble the others, but those 2 were Pog's condition

I dont think anyone is discrediting him, he makes some valid comments but there is also comments that are incorrect, not factual or doesnt lead to an outcome he is presenting. this shows that he is running of 2nd hand info from some connection in the team. Just cause I have have a hot plate, flour and oven doesnt mean im a baker.

You can disprove something that can’t be proven. It’s an opinion. He might be right. Again this is pedantic. There are much more interesting points you bring up that are already a page back

I guess most of us who dont see the numbers would still pick Majka based on what we see him performing in the races. Majka has been doing a brilliant job the last few years, and I think you’re underselling him when you are basically saying that Majka only goes because he’s having a good relationship with Pogi.
