or did I fabricate this information, maybe the Chinese president passed it on to me, and maybe I'm a time traveler, there are a lot of unknowns, and maybe I'm screwing you all up and what Pog is doing now is just luck and I had no idea what would happen on Strada and yesterday, maybe
Everyone and their mothers knew that Poga was going for the stage yesterday. I predict that there will be a sunset later this evening.

I know a guy who can almost sustain the same power in altitude(col de la croix fer 2067m), who can do it in cold conditions, without going full gas(imagine of he went full gas), 6.7 w/kg in almost 20 minutes(65 kg standard weight). This was the training version of 2023, this year can be better.

The experts can calculate this to sea elevation.

It was 18ºc at the bottom of the CdF last June and 10ºc at the top in dry conditions. Yesterday it was 7ºc at the bottom of the climb, 0ºc at the top and it was wet. 20min effort in ideal conditions vs 30min effort in sub optimal conditions. Not even close to being comparable.

The experts haven't calculated anything that can be considered a true representation of w/kg they're estimating weight, cda and other metrics, you can't just add up a load of estimated figures and claim they are accurate . It even says in ammattipyöräily's tweet that his calculations are an estimate. Neither his nor NaichacaCycling w/kg estimates are particularly accurate, try and find a WT pro to confirm that to you.

Thanks for the scoops!!
I don’t care if they’re pissed off with me
I had an agreement with Pog for a podcast with him. He gave the ok, his agent and his press agent also. And then afterwards Matxin told him that he wasn’t allowed to do it with me.
So *** him!

who do you think this message was sent to me, you have the right to guess once 🤣🤣🤣
You don't have a podcast. At the most, you are recording your own voice and play it back whenever you have to fall asleep.

I have not seen forecasts nor reports of temperatures below 5ºC, I guess there's a strava upload with such a measurement?

I already read Vaughters and Plugge saying the opposite, probably talking about ammattipyoraily.
You missed the first bit of my reply with regards to conditions. Not comparable.

Interesting, do you have any links to Vaughters & Plugge's comments regarding power estimates? Even if they did say that, the estimates will be closer to true figures in optimal conditions, especially if the estimators have power data from riders close to the best.

I'm not trying to defend mou here, neither am I in the school of thought that Pog is going to beat Vinge in the TdF. I think it's highly unlikely Pog will get the better of him. Giro or no Giro. Using bad data to support an argument is my gripe.

"For the data, you know there are so many people on Twitter doing that already, and if you follow these guys, you can see already what is happening," Plugge said. "We can share, but they already share a lot, and they are very accurate, I can tell you. For us, that's no problem at all."

If they were that accurate he'd have no problem sharing at least one file but they haven't have they? Why not?

Anyway, we're going off topic. My point still stands. You can't take ascertain anything from the raw data or estimates from yesterdays stage. We'll have to wait for the Giro, until then nobody knows.

I don't know the answer for that mate, it's a fair question that should be made to Plugge.
