This Giro is literally a one man show. We have entertainment if Pogacar wants to attack, if not, it is a procession
He's gone. He's dead.Mou probably got an one month ban. He will be back in 5/6 days
I didn't follow this properly anymore, but how come Pogacar can wear shorts that don't match the jersey? Thought UCI first made an issue of this. It's OK now? Makes sense btw, it's a stupid rule
White Jersey has grey shorts as well. It's provided by the organisers like that.I didn't follow this properly anymore, but how come Pogacar can wear shorts that don't match the jersey? Thought UCI first made an issue of this. It's OK now? Makes sense btw, it's a stupid rule
He is wearing the purple ones againYou can always wear regular (black) team shorts.
So if it’s provided by the organiser it’s ok for UCI?White Jersey has grey shorts as well. It's provided by the organisers like that.
A couple of days after that news came out, UCI eventually gave the green light for Pogacar to wear the pink-ciclamino skinsuit combo. That’s why Pogacar wore that during the TT and also today. I agree it was stupid of UCI to make that a big deal in the first place.I didn't follow this properly anymore, but how come Pogacar can wear shorts that don't match the jersey? Weren’t the shorts meant as a one day commemoration of a past tragedy or something? Wearing anything other than pink or team colors seems weird unless I’m missing something.
Are we going to have to start putting asterisks by names of stage winners in races of which Pogacar also competed, just so we know they didn't really win the stage, but were gifted the stage by Pogi?Bullied? By Lanterne rouge podcast
If this means Pogacar can win this Giro and still leaves himself with adequate reserves to be competitive at the Tour deep into the 3rd week then so be it.Hearing the rumours about UAE telling Poga to ease off to give other teams a chance to win is lowkey killing the excitement I had for the remainder of this giro.
That also might be the only way they can manage how much exuberance he put into the Giro. Not just a few of us have wondered if he can balance the long goal with the opportunities in front of him?Hearing the rumours about UAE telling Poga to ease off to give other teams a chance to win is lowkey killing the excitement I had for the remainder of this giro.

Sharing pie with the peleton is converging with Teddy's goal (saving himself for the double) so UAE may continue to let most breakaways go.
He said so a couple of days ago, that he’s not sure if he’s caught a cold or if it’s just allergies…Not sure how to take this quote but sounds like he's been ill as well? Perhaps a factor in UAE chilling out a bit.
“I’ve seen a lot of guys getting sick, but I’m getting better. I’m almost OK,” Pogačar said after the stage Thursday. “In the peloton on the day before the rest day, there were a lot of guys coughing and snorting, so I hope they are all right.”
