They signed Vermeersch and Narvaez for classics but zero riders to help Pogacar in the mountains.
Theres no team in the world which are as stacked as UAE when it comes to elite mountain doms.

Even if Almeida get GC role in Giro he can ride dom in the Tour and if not they can bring in Mcnulty which is good and Vine is very good if he can stay on the bike, the depth is second to none. And noone is better than Yates wouldnt be out of the world that Del Toro improves even more next year with one year older and if Ayuso leaves and and it dont work out they will replace him with a good climber there is litearlly zero worries about mountain help for Pogacar no team is close there and its the Tour, riders like Politt can thin the group down to 20 man anyway..

I also actually believe Del Toro which is already good will become a beast very soon. Zero worries and expect if Ayuso messy situation if he leaves they will get a elite climber and if not he will get in line.

So random TdF mountain stage next year and last 10 in favorite's group will be like:

Pogacar/Yates/Almeida/Del Toro
Vingegaard/Kuss/Jorgenson/Yates
Evenepoel/Landa

Del Toro seems to be too raw for the Tour.
based on? He is a extraordinary talent and after the Vuelta it may be a given already time will tell wouldnt be surprised though thats all, think he will become a beast very soon and going to the Tour with Pog will be the best he can gain if he strong enough for that next year but wouldnt be surprised as I said but lets see.

Regardless the team is stacked in that department no worries. They didnt bring riders like Vine and Mcnulty in any GT this year and still dominating easy in mountains their stacked in that department.

Those 2 are not team players.

He is 20 years old. I think he will play a domestique role in August so I don't believe in a top5.

Riders after the Tour do altitude training? For example, Pogacar will be in Sierra Nevada this month or he will just train in Monaco/France/Italy?

He better works his ass to win this WC.

And I think he should do the Giro-Tour next year, and aim for the WC in Rwanda, which will have more than 5000m of climbing.

He could be a 2x World Champion by next year, with 6 GTs and 2x Giro-Tour doubles in his resumé.

The Vuelta can wait.

Froomey has had valuable practice in the Tour of Rwanda (hard miles!) so he'll be the favourite next year.

I was under the impression that he takes a few weeks off, and then starts training again. I can’t imagine him not doing altitude since it worked so well before.

Tour-Vuelta next year. WC is 2/3 weeks after but are you sure, it will be a mountain WC? That would be great since they shut down the zurich classic

I am having a hard time in believing he, as the Giro champion, won't defend his title.

About the WC in Rwanda:

He should try the Giro-Tour double again and go for the WC again next year.

He is more interested in monuments than rerunning the Giro/Tour double again. Depending on how hard the Tour is for him next year, he might very well skip the Vuelta again to secure WC good chance to win.

He will do Tour-Vuelta for sure and try to win MSR and Flanders again.

He was defending champion in Flanders and he didn't defend his title
I don't think he'll do the Giro next year. I find it more likely yo come back to classics.
I would also usually think Giro-Tour double is a one time thing, especially since he pulled it off.

I think a classics-Tour-worlds+Lombardia schedule is more sustainable or that has at least been the traditional thinking. But Pogi is special, so maybe Giro is just optimal prep for the lad.
