Time to switch his focus for cobbled classics.
Best time of the year is coming and Pogacar vs MVP vs WVA is great to watch.

Their star is probably pissed off at the way the team is managed. He showed up guns loaded and the team withered from the top downDon't get why they haven't announced Roubaix yet, some kind of shakedown?

It would make sense that the one glued to the wheel would benefit more from the tailwind and be dragged by the one in front. Two handicaps for the one in front. Both riders need less power to go with the same speed. The attacker and who is being attacked
Tailwind favors the attacker. It was all anyone could talk about in the 2023 finale. It would make sense that the one glued to the wheel would benefit more from the tailwind and be dragged by the one in front. Two handicaps for the one in front.
This is was probably said earlier in the thread, but why on earth did Pogacar spot Mvdp a few bike lengths going into the sprint? Seems like he should have either taken a flyer from back there or been glued to his wheel.
Exactly this. Tailwind is important to increse the chance of attackers in maintaing a gap to other riders, specially a peloton of 40 riders.Tailwind favors the attacker. It was all anyone could talk about in the 2023 finale.
Or, perhaps more precisely, if the attacker can get a gap the tailwind makes it more likely to stick. Pog never got a big enough gap on any of his attacks to take advantage.
I thought this cost Pog dearly till MVP attacked at the top, now not so sure but stinks it occurred. Pog had a pretty good gap and could have accelerated out of the corner.View: https://x.com/laflammerouge16/status/1903520651463245907?s=46&t=X4NqNG7J5ZQ-MxPOi53ECQ
I blocked this out of my mind from the trauma
I thought the same. He closed the gap to MVP when he attacked after doing so much work (a lot more than MVP). A fail to see where is MVP able to follow Pogi in Kwaremont, specially when his team is miles better compared to 2023.I think Pogacar has never been so strong in MSR. Not only a thermonuclear attack on Cipressa but he basically lead almost the whole Poggio (attacking a few times) and yet he managed to neutralize a late attack by MVP at the end. Flandres should be a great rematch but generally 2025 doesn't look good for Pogi's rivals.
I dont disagree, but I wont take for it granted before the race. There will hopefully be another great battle between them.I thought the same. Well, in 2 weeks we will know. I just ask for no crashes and let the best win.I dont disagree, but I wont take for it granted before the race. There will hopefully be another great battle between them.

Clearly blocked there, but MVDP also took his turn really well.View: https://x.com/laflammerouge16/status/1903520651463245907?s=46&t=X4NqNG7J5ZQ-MxPOi53ECQ
