Probably after his contract. It is hard for a big champion to be motivated after not being able to compete for big wins. He's on a 3 year contract still making big money. I don't see a reason to stop.
I am sure someone said the beer they are given is the 0.0.% alcohol version anyway.Everybody calm down.....this is what makes bike racing so interesting.
He has been a bit overconfident in the one day races and he will learn from this and improve (just like he learned from his TDF defeats).
When I saw that he was the only one on the podium to chug his beer, I thought for sure he is skipping FW but I guess he is doing it. Hopefully he will prove everyone wrong again just like he did when everyone said doing the Giro-Tour double was too much.
His classics teammates have been a big disappointment this season.
Until we see more data, there is no way to know. Data = raceOh guys, don't make me believe he just wasn't stellar yesterday because he didn't fully recovered from PR.
His team can't control anything. They are so cooked! I hope Christen is in great shape, if not, Pogacar will be aloneA classic theory says that one can only maintain top shape as long as six weeks. The Amstel comes six weeks and one day after the Strade Bianche, so it’s normal if the winner of the Strade is past his peak during the climbing classics in April, especially if he’s also done the cobbled classics.
However Pogacar isn’t normal, so he’s still a favorite for the Ardennes, but he doesn’t look invincible anymore. He could ride the Flèche wallonne conservatively: let his team control the race and only go full in the final km. After Wednesday he can draw conclusions for his chances in Liège.
2021 and 2022 Lombardia, 2022 Tre Valli VaresineApart frome first LBL , has Pogacar managed to win a one day race when he has not attacked from far out and going solo to the line?
Thanks I never watch the autumn races, after the tour I always feel fed up with it. Is it in everyone’s opinion that he has lost his sprint compared to early in his career?2021 and 2022 Lombardia, 2022 Tre Valli Varesine
Imo, not really. Or if he did lose some sprint, it's probably not that much. We're just so used to seeing him solo or sprinting against the big boys like MVDP. I think his sprint is still probably the best out of the GC contenders. Thanks I never watch the autumn races, after the tour I always feel fed up with it. Of course not and the first week of the Tour will show that. Thanks I never watch the autumn races, after the tour I always feel fed up with it. Is it in everyone’s opinion that he has lost his sprint compared to early in his career?

Possibly a little bit but when up against fellow climbers you saw at the top of Prato di Tivo in the Giro last year that he won the sprint with ease. Thanks I never watch the autumn races, after the tour I always feel fed up with it. Apparently they think his condition is good, it's just the P-R in the legs. Unless FW (or LBL) turns into a spectacle of disaster, this is likely a good sign for the rest of the season. He posted a video. He will ride FW.
I hope he is really better, he needs to win the Tour in order to race again PR and RVV.Apparently they think his condition is good, it's just the P-R in the legs. Unless FW (or LBL) turns into a spectacle of disaster, this is likely a good sign for the rest of the season.
3, 4, 5, or 6 is all the same number when it comes to the tour. His legacy will be cemented in monuments. The Sheikh will need to accept this.I hope he is really better, he needs to win the Tour in order to race again PR and RVV.

6 is the goal. 6 Tours and 1 Giro and 1 Vuelta is enough to put him as the best GT rider ever.I think 5 is good enough, but no less if he wants to seel his GOAT status forever. 5 is the mark of the 2 biggest legends of cycling Merckx and Hinault.
I think a sprint in a tour is different, but it would be interesting if he just followed Remco when he attacks and trusts his sprint. It would be an interesting psychological scenario if he decides to just follow.Possibly a little bit but when up against fellow climbers you saw at the top of Prato di Tivo in the Giro last year that he won the sprint with ease.
Often he is sprinting in small groups against Green Jersey winner types don’t is normal that he will lose plenty of those clashes.
I would prefer him to ride the giro more and try there6 is the goal. 6 Tours and 1 Giro and 1 Vuelta is enough to put him as the best GT rider ever.
