Also, I fail to see how this holds ground, as if others aren’t in the same situation too and gonne peak for that and it implies Vismas dont care about the classics where they’ve made no secret of how highly they value the Flemish Classics season and how crucial success there is for them since they have so little in the monuments there.

Yet, I see a bunch of 'washed' (dont mean to offend with the word washed but its relative speaking to others)riders on their roster as well—none of them close to their 2022–2023 level relative to others. Van Baarle, Laporte, and WVA are all severly relatively worse compared to their competition now. A bunch, Kuss and more same faith too, all struggle to further improve and not just this year its a trend.
Arguably none of their ten biggest riders are clearly better this year than previous with only Jorgensen clearly at a similar level to last year.

Now the focus being towards the tour, I think pog should take it as seriously as he did last year for his redemption of 2023 loss. In this sport we've seen enough rollercoasters happening throughout so that we can't give the tour for pog yet in april. This classics season vdp has been saying he has trained better than ever and managed the load of the training for the classics and felt stronger than ever and same could be the case for jonas as now he is the one who is the hunter and the hunted pog should train like an animal to stay on the top step in paris

The strength of mountain support for Pogacar or Vingegaard is not a game changer, because these two riders are so strong in climbing, they alone can make a difference.

A team drilling multiple climbs hard could make the difference if both competitors are closely matched and a single attack by a main rival is not enough to crack his competitor. Sometimes a strong teammate up the road can make the difference in case of a long range attack.

Hence Visama must have some strong rouleurs, but have they beside van Aert and Benoot? Jorgenson could play that role but is needed on the tougher climbs.

Laporte is a shell of 2023 Laporte. Van Baarle hasn't looked especially good this year. They will probably not even make the team.

Campenaerts is the new one they brought in, if he finds the shape he could be crucial.

Who will be the eight rider? Valter? Affini?
