I thought you meant Simon. Regarding Adam, well, I’m inclined to agree with you somewhat. He will either, in my opinion, fold completely, or he’s just biding his time for the long mountains—super peaking. But the odds of the first outcome are more likely indeed.
Nevertheless, if he tries for GC for three weeks as much as Simon, they will both just be useful for a few mountain stages in the Tour, which was always going to be the case, whether or not they rode the Giro. So, potato, potatoes imo.
