I’m ready for it. I’ve stopped being overly concerned as just want him to race all of the timeBut he must take this risk, specially when the Vuelta has an easy route.

Yeah.WC > Vuelta specially when there is dream route for him
Maybe they only did the change after the classics and are still making adjustments. But how and why did they take so much time to notice this?
He drank because it was a training ride and he was not pushing 100 %.Maybe they only did the change after the classics and are still making adjustments.
I'm also assuming that trainning on open roads, where there are cars and you can't ignore traffic rules, makes it hard to go all out, like he would do during the ITT. Maybe he felt it was a good enough setup during trainning.
Honestly, the strangest thing for me was seeing him drink in such a short effort.
There are a lot of factors to consider when answering that question so I won't, but if all of them do a similar camp the relative improvement may be none. How much can a rider improve in a 10 days altitude training camp?
I think it was him not sprinting yesterday.Anyone have any clue what Pog did for Philippe Gilbert to start calling him out on twitter? Seems like a bit of an overreaction.
Phil who?Anyone have any clue what Pog did for Philippe Gilbert to start calling him out on twitter? Seems like a bit of an overreaction.
Didn’t he not sprint out of respect for mvp and the effort made to keep the green jersey? I thought Vingo attacking was just more visma spite for anyone else in the peloton. Like it’s a constant warfareI think it was him not sprinting yesterday.
People were very upset about his finishing in time to catch the end of the Suisse comment too, so who knows.I think it was him not sprinting yesterday.

It could just be a clinic specific honors code for Gilbert. Like you do you, just don’t behave arrogantly about the results.I think we need to pay attention to the standards of judgement we apply.
Anything that Pogi does is indicative of either arrogance, cockyness, lack of sportsmanship or the direct opposite. We could get playful and look for instances that are both not arrogant but cocky, or lack sportsmanship but are humble or whatever. It's just important that everyhing can mean the opposite and that we pair these opposits such that they make no sense.

Hence Bruyneels tweet
The villainhero we deserve!Yes, as long as "behave arrogantly" can also mean the opposite I fully agree.
I think we should embrace the opportunity and start talking about Pog in paradoxes. Pogacar, the Devilangel for example. Or the Destroyersaviour of Cycling.
Some says Pogi the 🐐 isn't Merckx, and cycling has survived Merckx.
Ups...
But how and why did they take so much time to notice this?
correctThey will not improve a lot. They will improve and still won't sniff Pogacar's climbing ability. The only time he went crazy, he put a full minute in a 20 minutes effort.
I had a hard time believing in that. He was truly disappointed and Combloux was almost a rage effort. In an interview he said he didnt do any hard effort on the ITT before Dauphine. So I guess that is why
I find it hard to believe that Pogi will spend the rest of his career riding only 1 GT per season - Hinault and Merckx usually rode 2. Any Pogi is currently well short of their GT totals - he won't be considered GOAT if he finishes with only 7 or 8 GTs
