Summer and holiday is here, I hope everyone’s having a blast. Im busy Ill be coming a baby daddy any day now and cant wait.

As for the TDF, I’m sure it’s going to be fun, but let’s be honest noone beating Pogacar. No one’s even close.
He’s in his own league and its no disrespect to anyone but its not hard to call it like it is, nor should it be for anyone. It doesn’t matter who people like or what they want to happen which a few on this forum seem to base their projection on, the gap between him and number two is gigantic, despite some few ppl screaming for a year its close someway in every race he about to enter based on ancient times and totally irrelevant to today while the numbers always said otherwice., People living in the past and get surprised each race is getting kinda weird at this point. What some might wish to happen is irrelevant including me, what matters is numbers. And if were being realistic only a crash can realistically stop him from winning; the numbers never lie.

Pog 2024 to now has just developed in all areas and for anyone paying attention and he is yeah, no need to say it even, it is self-explanatory.

Congrats mate, it's the best and most frightening thing in the world!
Yeah, it's really hard to think Pogacar won't win the Tour without any misfortune and I think he didn't show his true level in the Dauphine.

I’m sure the team might like to point at pogis spring ambitions as obstructing these kinds of minutiae preparations. But this is exactly why the team needs to be far more conservative with these details and how they approach changes. It’s more like colnago wants to roll out bikes to sell and they’ll risk pogis season to do exactly that.

They are unprofessional. With such a huge budget, how can he be so much worse than Vingegaard in TTs?

Let's wait until the Tour to see how much time he loses to Vingo in the flat TT (if any). The truth is that Pogacar focuses on classics (included cobbles) until almost the end of April so there could be some GT preparation shortcomings (maybe regarding the TT) compared to Vingo, who's fully focused on the Tour. If Pogacar wins the Tour UAE won't change anything but if he loses then they will exclude cobbled monuments (and add one-weeker or another training camp instead) next year.

He is training for the Tour since May. I really rhink his poor performance in the TT was due to bad equipment.

Pogacar has been posting time trial training sessions on Instagram all year.

The constant changes in bike and position have hurt him.

Last year, he was close to Remco and superior to Vinegaard and Roglic in the first time trial.
I don't understand changing drasticallys omething that was working.

And not just in time trials. He rode the UAE Tour and Milano San Remo on a different bike, which they haven't used again and on which he clearly looked uncomfortable.

He probably wants to win TT and in the Dauphine during the flat stages he used the aero bike stage one for example and also he is riding it during training

Yup. Remco is just too good in a flat/rolling TT. Pogi doesn't have this combination of power and aerodynamics.
OTOH Remco isn't as natural as Pogi or Vingo in the mountains. They can win there even when not at their best.
This could be likely reason for subtle change in position. Most pros are way farther forward to bottom bracket than traditional positions. And someone might have thought raising stack a little, and moving the seat rails would be beneficial in slightly uphill TT, feel more like road bike position than TT configuration. The photos in previous posts have him far forward, and crunched up in the front imo. We will see how it goes.. Remco, Ganna, Tarling all look very fluid on the bike.

We will see. Changing position isn't that difficult to perform but the problem is obviously how to maintain good levels of power and comfort. Remco is comfortable and powerful enough in a very aerodynamic position (which seem more natural for him).

I have been saying this for years. This is my main take to think Remco will never win a Tour and will never beat Pogacar or Vingegaard. They are just so much better and can improve more in the mountains. They born to climb unlike Remco.

If his times don't remarkably improve at the tour, it is pointless for Pogi to go for the worlds ITT.
I don't want him to go. Tour-Vuelta-WCRR should be the goal.
Since Contador bossed Angliru against Purito and Valverde, it is my favorite climb alongside Mortirolo (the hardest side). So I must say I have this dream of seeing Pogacar in red, dropping everyone off his wheel while destroying Heras's record. In fact I am fancying a sub 40 minutes performance there.
