With the yellow jersey, it's crazy to attack from a long distance, and his teammates don't have any more pace. With Almeida, he would have won more stages.

Of course I'd like to see he winning today, but in the great scheme, it was the right move.

Would have loved for him to win the last two stages but wasn’t ment to be. Most likely he won’t get the KoM or Points jerseys now as well but the overall win is most important. Finishing the season with wins at Vuelta, Worlds, Wolrds TT, and GdL would be the best season ever.
