They followed what As said this morning. Pogacar didn't announce anything.

Maybe it's lost in translation but do they mean that will Pogacar will announce that he wont race the Vuelta on Wednesday or that he haven't made his mind up and will announce his decision on Wednesday?

I'm pretty sure this is just speculation. But according As, he will announce on Wednesday, he won't race the Vuelta.

If he does skip the Vuelta it will be to keep the team happy - which was what Geraint Thomas said was the resaon last year - nothing to do with fatigue IMO. All the more so because UAE made such a giant mess of the Giro.

That's what I like the least. A rider like Pogacar should do what he wants, and if a teammate gets upset, he should leave. They can't force him, and this isn't the first time.

I'd like him to go too, but obviously not if he really is suffering some sort of burnout or depression. I struggle a little bit to believe the articles that have been shared, on the grounds that everything that comes directly from Pog or the team suggests he actually hasn't made up his mind yet and needs a few days off before he decides.

He will organize a 200 km race around Nice vs his best buddy Matthews. To make the competition harder Rogla will be invited as well.

This was said by a journalist close to Ayuso who has been leaking everything for years.

It's a mistake. I don't remember such an easy course in GT. Maybe the 2022 Vuelta.

When I saw the route, I changed my opinion. This was definitely the year.

Ayuso and Almeida aren't going to beat Vingegaard. A GT isn't Algarve or París-Nice stage.

I don't see a big difference but I respect your opinion. It's not a long travel from Monaco to the Alps and from Alps to Lombardy. It would be a new goal for him.
